Stayed Nov 14, 2025I booked this property for my birthday and had family and friends flying in. Before arrival, I realized we never received check-in instructions. I messaged the host through the platform and called the number listed, but no one responded. When we arrived, we were still locked out with no information, and several people in my group also tried calling with the same result. Customer support attempted to reach the host and couldn’t either. By then it was dark, and I was eventually told the only option was to cancel and receive a refund. Because of the time, we couldn’t rebook through them and had to search for alternatives on our own that could take us last minute. What was meant to be a celebratory weekend turned into a stressful scramble, completely derailing our plans. Later, a call finally came through,based on what we were told, it appeared the number on the listing belonged to a company managing multiple properties, and it seemed the wrong number had been attached to our listing. We had been calling the wrong manager the entire time. That first manager was polite and tried to help, even mentioning a possible future discount that never happened. Then the actual manager called and seemed confused and frustrated, as if we had caused the issue, despite all our attempts to reach someone earlier. The communication breakdown was extremely disappointing, and a refund didn’t come close to making up for the disruption and stress it caused.
