Oak Island Vacation Rental < 1 Mi to Beach!

House is a good size for 4 adults, but has room for children (we had none in our party). Living room was laid out weird for a group that size. Couch fits 3 adults, with 2 chairs flanking the faux fireplace. If you sit in those chairs, you can't see the TV. Second bathroom (with the fish shower curtain) needs a deep clean- vent above shower was caked in thick dust so it didn't work efficiently, there were major spider webs from the light over the vanity to the vent. The floor vent is rusted and has balls of hair or large dust bunnies. Mirror had toothpaste stains on it when we checked in leading me to wonder if it was cleaned between rentals. Towels smelled of mold. Only towels were in the master bathroom, we had to use beach towels for showers. Had a few roaches inside because the back door is missing weatherstripping. Neighborhood is quiet, but very dark. Neighbors were also friendly and quiet. We did not use the back patio or shed amenities. Kitchen is stocked well enough to make breakfast. Coffee maker does not take k-cups, it's a traditional coffee pot. Doesn't really appear to match pictures. Overall, the house is fine for a group who don't plan to stay in much. If I were to stay in Oak Island again, I'd find a different rental.

Very clean property with all you need for a great getaway. Very close to a boardwalk that gives you good walking access to the beach (about 3/4 mile). Property owner was quickly accessible and accommodating after our checkout time when we got well down the road and realized we had left something. Highly recommended!

Except for the interruption of tropical downpours we so enjoyed our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet, and close to everything you'd need. Amanda was such a gracious host and responded quickly to our needs. Very rare to find a host who offered an additional night after all the road driving conditions we encountered. We didn't use it but still was a lovely thing to do. House is well stocked for all and the price in off season is so reasonable. Thank You!!

Great place! Enough space for all. Kitchen stocked. Due to the hurricane we spent alot of time playing board games, cooking, and watching movies. The location to the beach was a quick golf cart ride away!

Very clean. Well stocked. There were plenty of towels and all of the hand soap dispensers were full. They give you a few tabs for running the dishwasher as well as tabs for laundry. The kitchen is adequately stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. The beds were comfortable. It was a bit of a walk to the beach as the walking bridge was closed, so we chose to drive to the beach. It was still a close distance. A very enjoyable stay overall. Would stay here again.

Very clean and comfortable on a quiet street! All new appliances and plenty of amenities. We had a great week!

very nice relaxing

House was clean and very well equipped. Office area was private, quiet and productive. Location was great nothing too far. Beach was a little far to walk but we were there at a time when there was plenty of parking up and down the island. Would recommend to others and would stay there again.

Sea La Vie was the perfect home for our family beach vacation! The house is well located in a quiet residential setting and a beautiful 15 min walk across marshland to the beach. The house had everything we needed from high end kitchen appliances, washer/dryer and well stocked amenities. The rooms and beds were super comfortable and we had plenty of space for our whole family. Sea La Vie is a short drive to grocery stores, beach shops and amazing restaurants. The shed in the backyard had everything we needed for the beach, including a wagon, tent and plenty of beach chairs and toys. This was truly a wonderful place to spend our beach vacation!
