Stayed Oct 13, 2025Beds were uncomfortable. House had a very strange smell upon arrival as did the towels (Indian food?) and was very cold. Upon trying to turn on heaters we realized most didn’t work. We did set the reset button inside the heaters but they were so dirty inside it smelled like burning when turning them on so most couldn’t be used. Home was otherwise very clean and spacious but it didn’t look like anyone had prepared for colder temperatures by cleaning the heaters and checking to make sure they worked.

Stayed Aug 9, 2025This property was perfect. It was a great location, close to everything we wanted to do and still quiet. The rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. There was good and quick communication from the property management team as well. Would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 23, 2025The NW Union house was very comfortable for the eight people staying there. We really enjoyed all of the seating in the living and dining rooms. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and basic ingredients and the location was very close to the hot spots in town. However we did run into some challenges during our stay. The refrigerator was warm when we arrived, the oscillating feature on the air conditioner downstairs was broken, there were unlocked windows on both floors, the hand sensor to lock the door didn't work one of the days, the washing machine was extremely difficult navigate and there was only one full roll of toilet paper per restroom. The host did respond the next morning recommending that we factory reset the fridge which we chose not to do as we didn't want to move the appliance ourselves. We had to buy a couple packages of bath tissue as three rolls didn't last eight people four days and four nights. Also, the room on the ground floor didn't have a closet and three of the four beds were soft and uncomfortable (not primary room).

Stayed Jun 29, 2025The listing says that the house has air conditioning. I should have dug deeper, it had 2 mini splits, one for the living area, which was fine. The second one was in the primary bedroom, unfortunately this does not cool the remaining bedrooms. The house also boasted cleanliness, this was not the case for us. I realize that Bend is dusty and it is probably hard to get the floors clean, but upon arrival, our socks were filthy, and no cleaning supplies were provided, so I had to buy a mop. Kitchen supplies were definitely lacking, we are family that likes to cook, it was difficult. I would love to give this home a better review but unfortunately it was an average experience.

Stayed Jun 15, 2025We had a very nice stay. It was very convenient to many riverfront parks. Grill area and patio are in front yard, semi-screened from street. Street was very quiet and neighborhood seemed nice. Note that it seems that the air conditioning is provided by two mini-splint heat pump systems, one in the downstairs great room, and one in the upstairs master bedroom/bath. (If this is not correct, please correct.) Overall, a great stay in a very nice place.

Stayed Oct 20, 2024Just spent a few days in Bend with my wife, brother, and mother (and her two pups) and this was perfect for our needs. The common spaces worked well for shared breakfasts and watching TV, while the bedrooms afforded everyone their own space so those that are early risers didn't disturb the ones that would rather sleep in. The street was nice and quiet. A good place to walk the dogs with a grocery store and restaurants close by. The Parkway is easily accessible as is downtown with its many food options and breweries. Would recommend this spot for a small to medium group that want a cozy base of operations while in Bend. The house is on a nice, quiet street that was

Stayed Sep 5, 2024Stayed here with a 2 friends for a guys golf trip in September and the house was great. 4 modest size bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths with full laundry upstairs. Garage parking big enough for a full size SUV. The house is located in a great area so you can walk to some good places to grab food and drinks. There's a market down the street (walking distance) with a great selection of food and drinks. The house is clean, TV room is the perfect size with plenty of couches to relax, jacuzzi was heated ahead of time, kitchen works great for cooking and there's a propane BBQ outside with all the grilling utensils you need. The host was very communicative and left us a bottle of wine and coffee when we arrived. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend the property.

Stayed Aug 4, 2024This house had many good points: great location, quiet street, good beds, large dining table, garage parking, bar b que and large TVs. However, it also had some drawbacks. While dog friendly, there was no yard; the freezer would not make ice, and on a 90 degree day, checking in, you need ice to make your drinks cold; the ice compartment was broken and would not hold bagged ice; sheets were clean but had stains (on one bed) which is just gross; many pans had the Teflon coming off and the one cookie sheet was extremely burnt; the front, outside table was so dirty, it was not usable. It would have been helpful if a map of Bend was in the house along with a list of favorite restaurants and breweries. Alpenglow was called about the freezer and outside table, but nothing was done.
