Northwood's Fish Haven on Beautiful Moose Lake; 2 kayaks, Lilly pad & game-room

Had a great stay at the Fish Haven property - a guys, family fishing trip.The property was clean and accommodations as stated. The pool table was an extra bonus and pier could handle a couple of boats and toys. The location is approximately at the midpoint of the lake, so it is very convenient when trying to fish both sides of the lake. The host, Amy, was very responsive and flexible. Caught a 41.5 in. musky as another bonus. Great place - we’ll be back!

Stay was great my family loved it. Only feedback is regarding the check in instructions, there were two different sets given and one was more up to date than the other.

Quiet serene setting, well equipped home. The perfect place to slow down and reset.

Well kept home in a remote private location. Well stocked kitchen. Nice boat dock. Quiet lake.

My family and I had a great time. Everything was as described. We spent most of the time swimming and fishing. The lake was perfect. Check in was easy, would definitely rent again.

Perfect family get-away. Easy access to the water, spacious gathering spaces and inside games when it was a little rainy. The cabin was described accurately and the owners were super responsive. One thing to note is the cabin is a solid 30 mins from Hayward, so prepare accordingly. We are super thankful we were able to experience the perfect cabin.

Great place to stay with the boys for the weekend. The owners were quick to respond and answered any/all questions I had. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice, clean, and fun home. Moose Lake is quiet and remote. We enjoyed the fire pit, pool table, internet, game room, kitchen, deck, kayaks, and dock. Our kids enjoyed the beds, but I’m not a fan of the mattresses. Amazon soft mattresses from a box seem to be the norm now in rental homes. If you like that, you’ll be comfortable. My wife and I prefer firm mattresses. Fishing is solid… caught walleye from 10 - 17 inches. Also caught Muskie, northern, small mouth, and perch. I would not consider Moose Lake a swimming, tubing, skiing lake. The lake is shallow with a lot of stumps, etc. The water is dark as coffee. This is all good for walleye fishing:) However, the host provides a swimming mat which is cool.The home is remote, but we enjoyed the solitude. A couple good restaurants close by. JB moose shack is crazy good. It looks like a simple bar restaurant, but the food…. Steak… is delicious.The only downside is that it is a 40 minute drive to Hayward and you have to drive on gravel roads for awhile.If we rented a home on Moose Lake again, we will stay here for sure.

The house was clean and beautifully set up for a great vacation! Fishing was a little rough but we landed enough to have a good meal. Overall my wife and I had a nice, relaxing lake home vacation.

The accomdations were delightful. The house was well appointed and contained everything we needed for the week. The only issue we encountered was slow internet. Most of us were not affected but one person had some on line work to do and he had problems. Not much the hosts can do. But potential guests should be aware.

Annual fishing trip. Good dock space, close to water, very private.

The cabin was beautiful and full of amenities. There was even a basket of toys in a play area for our kids. We had a nice paddle on the kayaks and kept our pontoon at the dock. It's a hike into town. The beds were big, soft, and comfortable. The closets were big.

Your property offered something great for every age group. We had some fishermen, some chefs, some young teens and one invalid (me). We were all pleasantly surprised how convenient and how well we fit into the property. We had everything we needed to enjoy a relaxing vacation. We used everything available to us and played lots of pool.

Property was clean and warmly decorated- very much a Northwoods vibe! The owner was responsive to questions prior to our stay. There were some nice amenities- kayaks, rowboat, games, toys, etc. All the kids, young and old, loved the lily pad and we enjoyed watching the sunsets from the dock! There was definitely enough room for our big family. The property was a little farther from Hayward than we would have liked & the Wi-Fi a bit slow, but overall it was quiet and relaxing!

He house was very clean and comfortable with many amenities-kayaks, row boat, pool table, foosball table, poker table, grill, fire pit, and a dock. There was so much to do even on a rainy day. Our only disappointment was that we have a bigger pontoon boat and the dock was not big enough for it. From the pictures it appeared we would be fine. Great stay!

It was a great stay, not a busy area and access to shopping is about 30-40 minutes away. There are great places to eat and fun activities in town, as well as lots of local boat rentals if you want to sit out on the lake and enjoy.

Excellent stay at this beautiful property. Attentive hosts have excellent communication and offer all the amenities needed for a lake life getaway in the beautiful Northwoods!
