The kitchen has ample wrap-around countertops and standard appliances, including a dishwasher. Four guests each can eat in the breakfast nook by the fireplace or table by the woodstove, and enjoy warmth, comfort, and great views of nature out the windows.

Six guests at a time can rest in the Sleeping Raven Woodland Retreat's three bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a luxurious four-poster king bed. The second bedroom offers a generous queen, with the third bedroom's two twins guaranteeing everyone a good night's sleep. Two full bathrooms and a private washer/dryer will keep everyone clean and refreshed before heading out to meet the day.

Port Angeles offers an amazing host of activities for guests to explore. In addition to the shops, restaurants, and downtown sculptures to appreciate, families can take walking Heritage Tours of the city, visit museums and galleries, or take a whale-watching trip with the Port Angeles Whale Watch Company. This home is a wonderful place to stay. It is very roomy and comfortable. Our group of 5 adults enjoyed the peace and quiet location. We would all stay here again on our next visit to Port Angeles.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this house. A specific concern we had were the two bathrooms. First, they were located next to each other, not where bedrooms #2 ad #3 are located. Small matter. Another concern: it was tricky to adjust cold water with hot water in the shower. We had to learn to start with a small trickle of cold water, then add in the hot water, both faucets turning inward, toward each other. The cold water faucet seemed to endlessly turn to the right. Again, small matter. Finally, the water coming out of the shower had an odd smell, as if chemically treated. Separate from the showers, we had to learn how to use the tv and realize that we could not access some of the familiar channels, e.g. Netflix, Amazon, etc. Overall, however, a quiet retreat located just outside of town. We stayed here for the second of our two week family (2 adults, 3 children) trip. House is beautiful and well equipped. We appreciated the quiet and the space to spread out. Everything was clean and there was plenty of kitchen gear to make meals with. The nuts and coffee were nice extra touches!
