Stayed Oct 17, 2025The house was beautiful and very well maintained. There were plenty of supplies (paper goods, soap, etc) available to us upon check in. The backyard was great but I would like to point out that the fencing on one side of the yard was in disrepair and as a result we were not able to allow our dogs to be off leash in the yard. Otherwise, everything in the house was beyond satisfactory.

Stayed May 15, 2025This old remodeled mansion fit our needs perfectly for the wedding of our daughter. The amount of space for sleeping was the first draw but the 1st floor living space along with the expansive porch allowed an informal meeting place for many of the guests at the wedding before they left town.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this restored Victorian home. The place was beautiful and spacious, with plenty of room for our 3 generations of family (group of 9). The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking and baking. Our host responded immediately to an issue with the dishwasher and installed a new one within a few hours. We had a health emergency during our stay and Chris was extremely accommodating and flexible with check out. One of our top rentals in 30 years of renting vacation homes.

Stayed Sep 26, 2024We were a group of 6 adults and 2 little toddlers, and really enjoyed staying at the house. Location-wise it's great - right on central ave, and very close to the pier and beach. The house itself is spacious, it's old and has its quirks, but renovated pretty well. The first floor is nice and spacious and a great space to hang out. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms are all generally a pretty decent size, so you don't feel too crammed which is great. The only relatively minor quibbles we had were some of the bedroom doors could use repair/replacement, as some doors are creaky, and one door didn't close. Also, there were some mosquitos hanging out on the front porch, but luckily we kept them out of the house. A little mosquito control might be helpful. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. The owners were easy to get in contact with and responded quickly, and if we did a similar trip, I'm sure we'd love to stay there again.

Stayed Sep 7, 2024Vacation with immediate family and brother and his family. Only drawback was the lack of ability to access broadcast television programs. Access to regular programs was virtually non-existent.

Stayed Apr 26, 2024my brother who lives across the street was having his 60th birthday. We rented the house with my brother and my cousins and we were able to have a great birthday weekend. The house had lots of space and it was a perfect place for us to stay.
