Location was great! House had a moldy smell and there was poison ivy growing in the yard.

Lucky us got a weekend where it didn’t get above zero for our whole Duluth stay. We noticed that it was quite cold in the dining area because there is no heat source in there and with the extreme cold, the heat from the adjoining areas wasn’t enough. I reached out to Heirloom and they promptly got us a space heater so we were able to snuggle in and enjoy playing games in there all weekend.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was within walking distance to most of the places we wanted to visit. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We selected this property because it was pet-friendly. The only complaint we had was that the house did have a somewhat foul animal smell. Luckily the weather was nice so we just opened the windows and that helped tremendously !

Beautiful beach! Cute, clean house. Loved the use of kayaks/paddlebords. A little close to the street, but the street noise wasn’t too bad.

We really enjoyed the house but we’re frustrated with the lack of help given when texting the Heirloom company. We arrived in Duluth and it was 50 degrees. When getting inside it was chilly so we went to start the fireplace, it did not work. Then, as it got colder we tried the heat, but it did not work. When reaching out to the company then asked us to do something with the thermostats but that did not work. The next day when waking up it was 63. I again inquired but heard nothing back. There also were no kitchen dish cloths or kitchen towel. There were few paper towels but those ran out fast, and no replacement could be found.

This is a nice property and a great location. Close to Canal Park and other tourist attractions. We appreciated having space to park two vehicles also.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! The location is great because it is close to all the restaurant and tourist landmark. We loved the fenced backyard for our dogs :) also, the private path to the beach is a fantastic perk! Our kiddos love running to the beach every morning without worrying about traffic. We love to go back to this property if we visit Duluth again!

Very clean; nice kitchen; comfortable beds; large screen color TV in living room.Living room furniture old and uncomfortable - needs replacing badly; tiny, tiny extra bathroom - only one on main floor; and it’s described as lakeside which in our opinion is a stretch. Also, it’s on a very busy road.

This VRBO rental was really nice and clean, every bedroom was made up really neat and with updated decorations and amenities. The family room was easy to entertainment small children and very cozy when you turned the fireplace on. It was a short 3 min drive to downtown Duluth/Canal Park area for going out to eat and entertainment at night. The only thing I didn't like is that there were full trash bags outside the backdoor when we arrived from previous people. Maybe they could of been taken out before we got there? Overall the entire house had extra blankets and bath towels for everything we needed. Very nice stay!

Overall, we really enjoyed it! There was some glass in the backyard and that worried us with having the dogs so we had to pick most of it up. Not having air conditioning on the main level was a real bummer. We made it work with fans and it wasn’t too hot for part of the trip but we definitely could have used some AC downstairs. But the beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms were very nice. The main level was perfect for us and our dogs. We loved the fenced in backyard. The location is great if you love the beach and it’s close to everything. We would definitely go back again but only during cool temperatures.

My partner and I got married in Duluth yesterday and were so blessed to stay at the North Coast Cottage. The beach access was exactly what we wanted and the property was located right between our ceremony and reception. I would highly recommend staying there!

We loved our stay! It was the perfect spot for our family of 5 to enjoy the beach and be close to canal park, restaurants, and off to hike around as well. The beds were comfortable and the access to the beach was so lovely, thank you!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The property location is excellent. A few blocks to the Lift Bridge and Canal.Park- walking distance. There is a short path from the property to the beautiful sandy beach of Park Point. The property was very clean. The main reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the air conditioning system (a split) could not adequately co both the upstairs bedrooms and the main floor. It was very hot and humid outside and the house never really cooled down comfortably in all.areas. A minor thing was that the listing indicated that Netflux is included, it actually is not. You have to sign in using your own account. Overall it was a fun stay due to the location. ParkPoint. Pint..

The property was very clean, and we enjoyed our stay. The listing indicates there is air conditioning, which is true, however, the AC unit is above the stairs, in the stairway to the upper level, so the stairway was ice cold, and the rest of the house (upstairs and downstairs) was still warm. It's Duluth, so there are only a handful of days you need air conditioning, but last weekend happened to be hot and it didn't cool the house. The listing also indicates a dining table, which didn't exist, though there was an island in the kitchen with two bar stool height chairs. Overall, a nice property, though with great proximity to the beach and canal park!

This was the first time that we rented a VRBO. Having space with a family of 5 was wonderful. We are Duluth bound every summer. Fenced in yard for the dog was amazing! Our personal suggestions...have a charging station (lots of electronics came with us) It was adequately stocked with everything we needed.
