Stayed Sep 7, 2019We enjoyed this house a lot, the situation is excellent and Marela was helpful, the only downsides were the church bells all night and the persistent mosquitoes on the terrace!

Stayed Jul 6, 2019The house is very nice. There are 2 issues : 1) no possibility of parking, 2) the bell of local church - it stikes each hour (also nigth)

Stayed Jul 7, 2018A very beautiful house in the middle of the charming little village of Sutivan. Peaceful atmosphere and perfect for family living. Many nice beaches nearby and nice restaurants. We would love to come back to this house and to this village.

Stayed Jun 6, 2017We really enjoyed our time in Sutivan. The village is wonderful. The hosts were great and they will meet you at the Ferry and drive you to the house. They were also helpful with tips on where to rent cars and helped with any questions we had about the area and services. The house is clean and tucked away through some cobblestone streets and close to everything. The courtyard is a great spot to enjoy a glass of wine, read or eat a family meal together. We stayed 9 days and it flew by. We had our 7 year old with us and he loved it too. We enjoyed a water park in Supetar and there is a wonderful local sandy beach with shallow water, Lovrecina beach that you'll want to visit in addition to Ziatni Rat Beach. If you are a kite boarder or windsurfer that place is awesome. Also, there's a nice little zoo worth the trip that has two small zip line chairs for kids and it's only 2km from Sutivan. If you like to hike, Vidova Gora is a nice 3-4 hour round trip with great views of Bol. You access it from Bol before you get to the beaches. If you like to bike there are unbelievable well marked trails all over the place and you can rent a bike in the village. The Island has probably 150 bike trails. There's also paddle boards and kayaks available for rent. At night they set up a nice little outdoor play area with a trampoline, Foosball table, etc in the village for the kids. There's also a small park for really little kids. You can buy a skateboard while there and the streets block cars so the kids ride bikes and skateboards, etc in the village. The house is comfortable and has a nice kitchen so you can cook your own meals. There are 3 markets in the village that will get you by. There are some nice restaurants in the village as well. FYI-It's hard to find steaks or chicken in the markets. It's the land of ham. If your staying for any length of time renting a car is a good idea as taxi's are pricey and driving in Brac is easy. Only going into Bol do the roads get a bit narrow like in Italy. Everyone speaks English and it's a relaxed atmosphere. The people seem to value the tourists rather then see you as a nuisance. We went in early June so it was not very busy and I would recommend that because it wasn't crowded and easy to get service.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Those looking for atmosphere, relaxation and serenity, this is the place. The village Sutivan on the island Brac is exactly right, if you're looking for a (beach) holiday away from the usual mass tourism. The sandy and rocky beaches are small, while still providing always a berth, in most cases even with shadow optiona. In addition crystal clear water, as is common for Croatia. You should only consider bringing a sleeping pad or similar, which makes it even a bit more comfortable. A dreamy village, with old stone houses in narrow streets, a small port, where no cars are permitted between 19:00 to 24:00, to make just a dinner at a restaurant right on the harbor wall ideal to relax, enjoy and dream - sunset included. The domicile itself - Nona Marica - is ideal for the above experience. Hidden in the narrow streets of the village, it offers everything what your heart desires, including air conditioning, a terrace, which is protected from unwanted eyes and a lot of shades, but also a second sun terrace for sunbathers. Plus a second Summer Kitchen, fully equipped and with a barbecue fire place. The first beach is about a 2min walk, more beaches in about 5-8 minutes. The contact and the cottage owner were super nice and above all incredibly helpful. Any question, whether restaurant advice or excursions were answered promptly, leaving nothing to be desired - you realize that they are living on the island themselves. We felt immediately comfortable and warm welcome. The only drawback we had to take on our own account, our stay was too short. Nona Marica in Sutivan is an absolute recommendation on our side.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Sutivan is tiny village where the atmosphere is authentic and the traditions are still alive. If you are looking for clubs, noisy bars, crowded beaches this is not the right place for you! The house is a little jewel nestled between the stone stairs and narrow streets of the village. Everything is very close: the sea, the restaurants, the bars, the supermarket. The agency and the owners are very kind and professional. Well, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday do not hesitate: choose this house!
