No Expense Spared - This Home is Perfect!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been going to HHI the week of Thanksgiving for 40 years. We have 2 kids with spouses and 4 grandkids between the ages of 4 years old and 9 that all join us - the home fits us well. It is a great getaway and we have enjoyed Palmetto Dunes for the majority of those stays. The resort has been so accommodating and easy to work with. We plan on being there again next year, the Lord willing.

We love to see the different birds, also saw little alligator, we named Hector! We love to ride bikes around Palmetto Dunes. Great to have the screened porch. Many visits to Cocos beach bar ! Just a note the water pressure in the master is none, if you wanted to use the jet tub, it would take hours to fill and the shower has no pressure. We were not happy with the hot tub , we did not heat it since it was August and hot out. If you do not heat the hot tub, it is just like a pool. They want over $500.00 to heat and extra $150.00 if they could get it done that week with short notice, we chose not to pay $700.00 to heat on the Sunday we were there. Other houses on the same street are only charging $300.00 to heat the hot tub. This is a problem. Love the house other wise, hot tub heat may be an issue on us coming back to this house again.

From my reservation process with Joe who is excellent to my contact with Roberta, who helped with any issues, I am very pleased with my rental experience. We did have a couple of issues with this house and Roberta coordinated with maintenance to get us taken care of. The whole PD Team is professional and really care about making our stay wonderful. Best house and beach stay ever. Can’t wait to come back.

Had an issue with plumbing and the response from mgmt co but they stepped up to apologize. We would certainly rent it again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Firstly, the inside of this home was stunning and so incredibly spacious. Dining room and kitchen were the biggest we've ever seen and we've stayed at over 4 different homes over the years. Primary bedroom was also beautiful. Pool table was a nice bonus. Pool size is not as small as it looks in the picture. The deck was definitely too small. Renting from Palmetto Dunes is very easy and they are very responsive but the property had issues: 1) The light in the primary bath wasn't working - they fixed it the next day. 2) Icemaker wouldn't dispense ice from the door - they couldn't fix it. 3) Spa at the pool wasn't working - they fixed the bubbles but the heat still wasn't fixed after 4 days. They refunded the spa heat fee. These were generally minor except the spa heat which was really disappointing. The kitchen was not very well equipped for cooking - pot/pan sizes were missing - but it was fine. Overall the experience was mid even though the inside of the property was ridiculously pretty. Would rent from PD again but not this unit.

The kids had an upstairs room all to themselves while grandparents and parents were able to have first floor accommodations. The home is beautifully decorated and well stocked. If there was anything to note - the home does not have cable tv. All of the TV's are Roku TV's that allow you to log into your personal apps, but if you are used to relying on cable tv for your viewing pleasure, this may be a struggle for you - I know it was for my father-in-law.
