We had a great time good location access to all the lakes , beautiful house , host was on top of things!
The home had lots of open space, plenty of room in the 4 bedrooms and the AC in each bedroom was Great! The hot tub was great way to both start and end the day. We enjoyed hanging out on the wrap around deck playing games or just chilling out. The lawn area is spacious for letting the kids run around and the fire pit made it feel like we were at the cabin. Location is awesome, two minute drive to two public beaches and less than ten minutes into Bridgton for a some pizza and nice restaurants. The kids really liked the Mountain Range Golf Driving Range and the adults loved the food and beverages (awesome burger) they offer on their deck! Would stay there again in the future!
Very good.
This home was perfect. The location was close the everything we needed. The rooms were warm and cozy and it was well stocked to meet our needs. The host was very responsive. We will be back! Thank you!
Vacation crew: a family including grandma (90 YO); Mama Bear; her four grown children (in their 30s) and their people; one 6 YO boy who actually never got bored because there was so much to do. From start to finish, this was a terrific experience. The owners are very responsive and accomodating and communicated often as our vacation neared. There were explicit instructions about stuff like lock combos and use of the hot tub, etc. The property was exactly as advertised. The pictures really do it justice. The home was spacious enough for all of us (9 adults and one child, with a couple of other people staying for just a night or two). The place is very clean and well-maintained, and there is ample supply of cleaning products, paper products, and other staples, as well as plenty of dishes, glassware, cookware and other necessities. There are 3 lakes within a few minutes ' drive. One, Crystal Lake, is the best for families (2 minute drive) and we spent several days there. Well worth the little trip. There are several walking trails just across from the house, and the road is quiet (though the road behind the house is pretty well-travelled and can get busy). We spent so much time out on the oversized deck, where there is room for three separate groups of people, plus the hot tub (lovely!!). We will rent again from this family. Everything was ideal.
Great place for a large family
Beautiful property, plenty of space for all! we enjoyed our stay!
We planned this with our 3 adult daughters and their significant others for a week. The house was completely as advertised and housed all of us very comfortably. We were looking for a beachy vacation area and found lots of lakes to choose from. The nearest “beach” was not really a sandy beach but there were several other options nearby. The town offered a nice bookstore and some others shopping that covered the one rainy day we had. The owner communicated very quickly to answer any questions. The kitchen held up well with 8 adult cooks! Beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub many times. We highly recommend it for a family retreat!
We did have an issue upon arrival, but owner went above and beyond to make it right. Owner extremely responsive to all questions! Even went out of the way to help reunite a lost wallet with my grandson! Overall experience was an 11 out of 10.
This house is absolutely beautiful! LOVED the all wood design and spacious layout of the house. It’s equipped with the very basic essentials. We were a group of 6 ranging in age from 10 – 79 on a family vacation. We were disappointed to find that the beach noted as within “walking distance” from the home was merely a 5’ strip of grass next to the boat launch right on the main road with no beach and not what anyone in our group would consider within walking distance. Fortunately there are several true beaches within driving distance but we had specifically wanted a rental with beach access. Of Note: The house is located right on Route 117 which is a heavily trafficked road from early morning to late into the evening. Most likely not an issue if you are used to heavy traffic noise but we were looking for a more serene Maine environment. For those with rooms on the main floor just a heads up that when the toilet is flushed in the bathroom upstairs it sounds like a jet engine airplane is landing in your bedroom. Quite startling in the middle of the night. The location of the house (Bridgeton) is a great central location to tour Maine with lots of Lakes and activities to do. We highly recommend Maine Lobster Express in town for a fresh seafood market, Elevation Sushi & Tacos, Pondicherry Park especially their obstacle course, and Reny’s for great deals on all kinds of sundries.
