Stayed Feb 7, 2026We loved the layout of the house but the backyard was our favorite place to be. The pool, hot tub, dock, view, corn hole, the different seating areas…we loved it all.

Stayed Aug 16, 2025What a beautiful property! We loved that it was on the canal so we could get to our boat easily. We also loved that the home was all ground level. We had a grandmother with a walker and a toddler. We appreciated not having to worry about steps anyway. It was amazing!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We booked this vacation back in January 2024, not exactly knowing where we wanted to go, but we had remembered five years ago. We had come to the island with some family and we enjoyed our time.. we didn't want to be around a ton of young people and crowd that would get rowdy, so we came at the perfect time which is after Easter. We booked our house with no current reviews on it just from the pictures it look like a very nice place to stay. I would recommend this house to anyone being that it is right off the canal for fishing and manatee sighting. The pool and hot tub are awesome. I will say the hot tub seem to have a mind of its own here and there lol. Every morning my wife would wake up early and go watch the sunrise on the beach while I got up at the same time and went to the hot tub lol. I spend every morning and finish every night in the hot tub. My kids love the pool, and they have swim every day. The island is so pretty and there is so much beach here with beautiful shells and tons of great wildlife to see. We have at some pretty awesome restaurants. There are plenty of places to get ice cream and cool souvenirs. Don't forget to go to the donut ? experiment as well. The kids will love it. We have been here almost 10 days and we have done as much as we can with the family. We have built some great memories together this week. I do recommend that if you come and visit the island that you rent a golf cart to zip around in it just makes life so much easier and funner. The house is plenty big and has the amenities that you need. I would however recommend if you stay here that you have enough toilet paper and products of necessary needs lol there were a couple little things that I would change but my wife and I both said we would stay here again in the future. You can see the sunrise decently from the backyard. if you're coming with a family to Anna Maria Island, I recommend coming at the slow season to really enjoy it. This is a vacation we will not forget.

Stayed Jul 1, 2023The property was in the perfect location. Enjoyed the pool after days out in the boat. Loved the house being ground level for easy in and out! The kitchen was VERY well stocked which was great for our family, because we cooked almost every night. Enjoyed the pool table at night before sinking into the comfy beds.

Stayed Jul 3, 2021We really enjoyed our stay at this home and would definitely book again. It's very comfortable for a family. We had 2 adults and 4 kids ages 16-20. We spent a lot of time fishing off the back deck catching pin fish/catfish/black drum and feeding a blue heron that showed up each day for breakfast and dinner. Being on the canal was SO worth it and the walk to the beach was just down the street. The backyard is very private as well. The pool table got a lot of use from our teens. The pool and spa were wonderful!! We also liked having ALL the light switches labeled! A few little things that would've made our stay better but definitely won't deter for us booking again. We LOVED this house! ** A beach umbrella/sun shade/ shade ninja etc. We really appreciated the beach cart and chairs, but we traveled 10 hours with a packed car, so a tent/umbrella is just something we couldn't bring with us. ** The two right burners on the induction stovetop didn't work. We reported it the first day and they said maintenance would come take a look, but it was never looked at. We cooked 90% of our meals, so only having two burners was inconvenient, but workable ** Instructions for the TV. There were 5 remotes in a bowl. Thankful the 20-year olds figured it out quickly. ** A way to turn-off the door alarms. While I understand the safety behind it, it caters to a small % of families (those with very young kids) who are obviously taking on the responsibility themselves by booking a house with a pool/canal a few steps away. Hurricane Elsa set-off the alarm at 2:30am with a window that opened just a crack. We thought it was some sort of hurricane alarms going off, very frightening in the middle of the night. THEY ARE LOUD! ** Providing a little more of the needed things so they don't ALL need to be bought for the week....scissors/tape, saran wrap/tin foil, spice rack, trash bags etc. There is NOTHING besides the few starters of tp, dish soap, laundry packet. Just taking 1% of the rental fee and providing some extras would have been the cherry on top.

Stayed Apr 10, 2021We had family stay with us from Florida. The place was beautiful and clean. They had beach chairs. The grill was useable. Enough stuff in the kitchen to cook. We don’t have little kids so the security doors and windows were loud but if I had kids they would be great. Needed to have a blow dryer and shampoos, conditioners and lotion samples like any hotel room. That would have been nice. Also the 499.00 VRBO fee was ...wow! Unfortunately, we may look at realtors next time for a rental.
