The host was rude. They mentioned no partying on the check in rules which is fine but then they mentioned it again on a seperate message and even stated that they would call the cops. The house was dirty, the rear door was leaking water during the rain storm. A handful of the blinds were broken. I had to take pictures to document everything with fear of accusations. I sent pictures to the host to keep a paper trail. There was only 1 TV in the entire house. The worse part was that there were roaches in the kitchen.

Your house is very beautiful. It’s in a great neighborhood and access to lots of places to visit. I would recommend this home to anyone.

Our Thanksgiving 2025 stay was plagued with serious issues, including pests (roaches and gnats), plumbing problems, and poor cleanliness. The home was not properly cleaned—dirty toilets, sticky countertops, stains, leftover items, and an unpleasant odor. Roaches appeared to be a known issue, with traps placed throughout and evidence of infestation. A burst hot water line flooded the master bath, we risked getting burned to close the valve. The line was never repaired, and we were told not to use the sink. A broken toilet remained unusable despite an attempted fix. There were no cleaning supplies, and the washer/dryer were outdated and malfunctioning. The odor stemmed from a leaking kitchen sink, contained by a bucket, it appears the host attempted to mask the odor with car fresheners. Due to the holiday, we couldn’t find alternate accommodations. We contacted the host immediately and repeatedly. Hoping to come to a resolve, we’ve waited almost a month after being told he would “get back with (us) shorty” and we’ve heard NOTHING.

The only complaint I have is that there was a very small coffee pot, but no coffee. We had to make a trip to the store to purchase coffee. The towels and washcloths need to be replaced. The house was clean and the sheets were clean. The smoke alarm in the living room was chirping and we were out of toilet paper but a call to the manager and they brought over paper towels, toilet paper, and a battery.I would recommend that you get a Keurig coffee pot, and have coffee on hand.

The house was clean and check in was easy The host communicated all info well ahead of time which doesn't always happen. Lots of room for people to hang out and quiet neighbours. We would stay here again!

The host is honest. I don’t know what happened in the past to make the owner to stop investing in the property.

This is the perfect place is you find yourself in Houston for a week and do not want to be stuck in a hotel. Quiet out of the way but easy access to downtown Houston.

The rooms are old from the masters to the individual rooms. The area and location is not worth the price.. just unfortunate you’re not able to see the location beforehand but save your time and look elsewhere

My family and I stayed here the weekend of July 26th- 28th. Upon arrival, we were instantly caught off guard but hoped for the best. You would definitely not feel safe outside at night. We were even worried about parking our cars outside. Once we entered the house, we were hit with an incredibly musty smell and hoards of flies. There was so many flies we were worried that there may have been rotting food left somewhere. We were disgusted. We tried to kill as many as possible but it seemed never ending. To make matters worse, when we checked the beds for bed bugs etc, they felt dirty and used. I highly doubt the sheets and blankets were washed before we arrived. Everything felt grimy, especially the floors. We did not take off our shoes. The absolute bare minimum was provided. Not even dish soap— not that anyone would want to prepare food there. The dishes were dirty and the cupboards were filled with dead flies. If a listing says it can accommodate 10+ people, you would think more than a single roll of paper towels and a roll of toilet paper per bathroom would be provided. We even reached out to the host who said they would check with the cleaners. We got no response after. The furniture looked as if they were plucked off of the street. 2 of the 6 dining chairs were broken. Also none of the outlets worked in the bathrooms. All in all, this is by far the worst rental I have ever stayed in. I would recommend staying at a motel over this place. Do not be fooled by the pictures.
