House looks freshly remodeled and is very cute. Lots of games and activities for the kids to stay busy. Kitchen is nice and appears to be fully stocked. Towels were rationed for our group of six, but didn’t cause any problems.
We stayed here for a pre Thanksgiving retreat with another family. They have done the most with the space they have. The bedrooms are small but comfortable. The bathrooms are clean with nice showers. The game room is fantastic for kids and the outdoor area is great (protected from sun, weather with nice hot tub and well functioning grill with space for dining and socializing outside. Our only complaint was the kitchen was not as well stocked as described. Only one oven pan to cook on. No Saran Wrap, only enough aluminum foil to cover one container, ONE trash bag for our 4 days stay (fortunately we had some of our own), and somehow no butter knives, only steak knives. Nothing devastating, but most VRBOs I’ve been in had those basics. The area is great with many beaches and hikes. Nearby Hearst castle and the step ladder creamery were great activities.
We enjoyed our stay. The place was beautifully decorated and we loved it! There were a variety of games and other things to do to make your time relaxing and memorable. Thank you!
This house is amazing! I booked both Newton's Nest and Treehouse and both had fantastic lounging areas, activities, and things to enjoy. Perfect for a large group which I had. The property manager was communicative and helpful with any questions. Definitely recommend for anybody looking to have a fun and relaxing time.
This property is amazing. It is warm and cozy. My kids entertained themselves in the game room every day of our stay and didn’t touch the toys we brought with us. It’s close to town. It had everything we needed to be away from home. The kitchen is well stocked and linens are comfortable. The throw blankets are soft. I can’t say enough. We truly loved this place.
This was a very comfortable house to hang out in! The kids loved the game room:)
Went here with family for a fun weekend getaway filled with wine, games, food, and good times. Newton's Nest was a fantastic central location for all out weekend plans. The outdoor space was awesome - we made ample use of the hot tub, grill, and dining area. We also had more than enough propane for the firepit, heater, and grill, which we really appreciated. The kitchen was beautiful too! We bought a lot of our own gear, but the space did come with a lot of essentials (sponge, cleaner, pots/pans, utensils, glassware, plates, even a couple of tupperware). The game room was a huge hit and was where we went after quiet hours started. Shuffleboard is in great shape, and there are a ton of board games available. We played a different one every night ? Bedrooms & Bathrooms were also very clean and in great shape! Overall it made this weekend a blast for all involved. Thank you, Newton's Nest!
We loved staying at Newton’s Nest! It was the perfect place for family to meet up and spend time together. The kitchen was equipped for our cooking, the beds were comfortable, and the house decorated very cute. The game room was fully stocked with lots of fun games that we played. We spent lots of time in the back outside area which had a nice table to eat at and an outdoor living room with TV to watch the ball game. There’s even a Jacuzzi to relax in. We enjoyed our stay very much. If we ever get the opportunity, we will be back!
I stayed here with a small group of friends for a girl’s weekend away, and it was perfect. The aesthetic is cozy and thoughtful, the amenities were great, and the kitchen is well-stocked. We all loved it!
Comfortable, clean, and well located. We enjoyed
My friend and I took our daughters on a weekend getaway trip and rented this home for the weekend. We had a lovely stay. The house was beautifully decorated and newly renovated. The house is close to driving to the coast and shopping and dining. Some issues we had... we didn't find an iron anywhere in the home and we looked EVERYWHERE, so that would have been nice. The main bedrooms were not the most comfortable beds. And the master bedrooms bathroom did not have an outlet to plug in hair styling tools. Just a few things I would consider improving for the next guests. Especially an outlet and iron. Overall it is a beautiful home.
