Stayed Oct 4, 2025Great spot! Thames street and the wharfs are both very walkable from here. Had everything my wife and I needed for a two day stay over the weekend. Only complaint is some increased noise from the street at night but it was a small price to pay for an affordable and centrally located stay.

Stayed Aug 3, 2025While there was a little street noise off the busy main street, the property was a short walk to the wharf, shopping area and restaurants. Cliff walk was a short driving distance. Propery was clean and comfortable, and the host was very kind.

Stayed Jul 2, 2025Owner was lovely and very responsive. Location seemed a bit odd at first, but we realized it was well located to walk into town once we got familiar with the area. Place was very simple but comfortable. Clean and set up for ease of use. Only negative was that the beds are not very comfortable.

Stayed Jun 7, 2025As others have said, it's near an intersection, gas station, and busy street, but it's still a great location. You can walk to Bowen's Warf in 20 minutes, there's a bike/walking path behind the house into town, or cut through the Common Burial Ground over to Spring Street.It's extremely clean and has a full kitchen and a washer and dryer in the basement. It's older, with old appliances and nice wooden floors - definitely nothing fancy, but very Newport in its own way. Nice shower.My only comment is to remove the lock on the second entry door into the kitchen because we almost locked ourselves out (you can use a tool to turn the lock from the outside, as long as you have something that fits). And guests should not have to strip beds when paying these rates. The management company should change this policy or we will not book with Evolve in the future. But we would stay here again, otherwise.
