Newly Renovated Home On Beautiful Lake Sinclair - new DISCOUNTED rates!!!!!

The Kitchen was fully equipped. We were having our Thanksgiving meal there and pots, pans and utensils needed were supplied.

We had a long drive from Florida the day we arrived after work. We arrived at the house around midnight to find 2 of the beds unmade. This was the master and one room upstairs. Naturally, the beds we needed. The dirty sheets were placed on the floor in the laundry room. 2 of the toilets still had pee and toilet paper in the toilets without being flushed. Trash cans not emptied. Dishwasher full of dishes. No more trash bags available for our stay. The reviews say recently remodelled. Not the case, very outdated with dirty carpet. Hairs in the sinks. The place had not been cleaned since the last visitor. The next day I messaged the housekeeper and she said she could come clean. My wife had already cleaned the toilets and put sheets in wash. Our whole family was arriving soon and we didnt want someone else in the house cleaning we had already paid for. Its a shame we had to wash sheets, make beds, take out trash and clean toilets when we arrived. Owners should be ashamed. If your wondering why its so cheap, now you know! stay away!

The overall experience was great... Enjoyed the house and the dock, lake etc... Very peaceful place. Yard is beautiful, my biggest complaint is there was no gas for the grill but used oven instead, Not a deal breaker.

Great stats for the money. Suggest the bathroom outlet on the second floor be fixed. It wouldn’t work.

This house was perfect for my family, including 6 adults and 2 children (6 and 9). I have stayed at this rental at least 4 times with my girlfriends (age 74). We always have fun.

Upon arrival, we could not have been happier to see the amount of indoor, outdoor and dock space. This property was awesome and we enjoyed our week at the lake so much. My family also owns another house on the lake and so we spent time boating, swimming, cooking and just being together. We even brought our own Blackstone! The kids really enjoyed the loft area with ping pong in the evenings. I cannot thank you enough for sharing this beautiful property with us! (But you do need to fire your cleaning company.) Thank you!

We really had a great! Fished the whole time and was able to get into the nearest town pretty fast. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet. We look forward to going back!

The master bedroom had french doors that opened to the perfect view of the gorgeous backyard and lake.

First let me say this house was beautiful and felt just like home, very cozy. Plenty of space for our family of 7. It was clean upon arrival and looked just like the pictures. The kitchen was the highlight for me! The only real complaint was that the water got super cold after 1 person took a shower -bummer because it was so cold during our trip but other than that this was an absolute delight!

This was our second year staying at this location for Thanksgiving. It’s very spacious and have an amazing view of the lake. This year the place was not stocked like the previous year. Very little paper towel on the spool, the same for tissue and only 1 extra roll, no extra perks like washing pods, no dishwasher liquid, floors dirty and dusty. Decor is out dated and the recliner sofa don’t work. Password was incorrect on VRBO and it was a long time before the owner responded. Overall it was a Happy stay.

This is a big house in a great location that just needs some TLC and a good cleaning. The owners were communicative until I mentioned how dirty the house was upon arrival and that we had cleaned it ourselves and washed the towels. Once that was done we appreciated the lake front dock and six bedrooms the house provided.

We enjoyed our stay only thing i would suggest is a new grill and lights on the dock. The house has plenty of room we always enjoy coming down that way.

** The Good: As a family, we had a nice time. There was plenty of room for six adults and two toddlers. The water view was pretty, and launching our kayaks was easy. Despite some rain, the covered patio was nice to sit under. The lake is a lovely. ** The Bad: The house looks outdated. The only renovations I noticed were flooring and perhaps the granite countertop. Upon arrival, the lawn was overgrown. The owner sent someone to cut the grass. Inside, the cleaning was poor. he resent someone to reclean. The kitchen counter and refrigerator's dispenser were dirty. Two living room chairs and some bedroom blinds were broken. Extra blankets and pillows were thrown on closet floors. The master bath baseboard was filthy. The outdoor tables were dirty and sticky. The dock was a mess with a disgusting countertop, possibly from bait or fish, and chairs in the water. ** The Ugly: Safety issues and the owner's treatment were concerning. The front sidewalk had an uneven crack due to a small sinkhole, causing my wife to trip. We had to clean the dock ourselves, finding fish hooks on the floor, which our daughter-in-law stepped on, luckily wearing sandals. The gas grill was so greasy it caught fire when I lit it. There was no fire extinguisher. When we informed the owner, he and his wife yelled at us, calling us complainers and lunatics. Overall our stay from Friday-Monday was great! The house definitely seems dated and the beds werent super comfortable. But it was made up for in comfortable space, huge dock and privacy. Just a heads up that there is a walmart but its about 45 min away and the closest grocery store is IGA about 25 min away so make sure you shop before!! A grocery trip can cost you 1.5 just driving. We had an issue when we first got there with cleanliness but the cleaner and owner responded and handled the issue very quickly! Overall it was spacious and perfect for a larger family. Just wish the beds were a little more comfy :)!

Had such a great time, the first visit,,that ive been back again....Great home, lots of space, and love the yard and view of the lake...hope to visit again soon...?

We nine ladies enjoyed this spacious home. Some kitchen concerns with stuck cabinet and missing tools we wish we had. One upstairs bed was hard as a brick but other beds were fine. ( Everyone has different preferences.) we were disappointed that listing mentioned tv and sound system on dock but tv missing and sound system couldn’t get to work. Perhaps it will be all fixed for the summer season. Overall nice property and good value for a relaxing stay on the lake if you don’t care about nearby restaurants/attractions.
