The heater was turned off when we arrived. There was no central heat or AC on the second floor. We didn't enjoy our stay and wouldn't return or recommend it.
Great location to the mid-coast attractions.
Great location, clean house. However, limited kitchen equipment, dishes, coffee cups, etc. for a house that sleeps 10. Also, only an apartment-sized refrigerator, no ice maker, two-burner grill. Makes it difficult to cook meals in the house for more than 3-4.
I was hosting a group of family and friends who were coming and going, and the location in Boothbay Harbor was perfect, so that folks could be independent (coffee here, drinks there, lobster roll plus ONLY at Dunton’s, so perfect and close by!). The oven smoked too much to be useable (even on preheat and after communicating with Vacasa and our trying multiple oven cleaning sprays). There was a broken bed support for the bed on the main floor (communicated to Vacasa, but no reply) and black mold in the upstairs shower (should be easy to fix!). Otherwise, a great property - although I would note that there’s is an odd and treacherous drop down step for the upstairs - I just left a bag there, so no one would step down 3 steps instead of going on the other side of the top stairs, where it was easier! But spacious, clean, and well located!
This was a great house to spend a family vacation week in Maine. Its newly renovated house had plenty of room. The location was great, within walking distance to Boothbay Harbour.
Close to downtown
This property was spacious and super clean. The management was very helpful when we needed something. Just make sure you read details on the Vacasa site about pets in case anyone has allergies since pet dander is microscopic so no amount of cleaning can get rid of allergens. That was my oversight and most won't have any issue.
11 Sherman Street is a lovely home. We took note that it was immaculate upon our arrival. The home was very comfortable and well equipped. The location was ideal - on a quiet street and within easy walking distance to downtown. We had a wonderful stay!
This house was easy walking distance to town, with convenient parking out front. The beds were comfortable although 2 baths for 5 BR might be a challenge if you have a lot of people. The back deck was lovely! There is no central AC. Looked just like the pictures!
Plenty of room for 5 adults, walking distance to the shops and restaurants on the water, grocery about a mile away. Recently added window a/c units in 2 rooms with additional fans made all the difference with unusually hot temperatures for a few days. Great visit!
Walking distance to everything in Boothbay Harbor. House worked well for our group. Very clean and well maintained
A nice home with a quick walk to town. Interesting topography- rocks and hills with beautiful views. We loved the deck, the cute house, and the ability to have family together. Thanks!
We took a multi-generational extend family vacation and loved to find a home that could accomodate a large group so close to town. Be prepared to walk uphill, but the quiet, convenient location is worth it. Vacasa was sometimes slow with responses to questions in advance of vacation but were excellent and super responsive once we were there. Would happily return!
