Newly Rennovated Home next to Zoo and Downtown Stadiums

This would definitely work for a whole family! It is close to downtown in a safe neighborhood. The Lucas Oil Stadium was in sight. Appreciated being able to catch up on laundry and having everything there for coffee. The shower was nice with good pressure. The restaurant in the yellow building around the corner was THE BEST authentic Mexican food I have had itn a long time!

Great stay overall—very clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location close to town. Would definitely stay here again!The house is just as it appeared in the listing. We were able to rent scooters to ride to and from town a couple times. Communication with the host was quick and responsive.

There weren't many things to use or cook with. No spatualas, tongs, or large bowls. Also, the firestick that was in the house wouldnt work. The floor in multiple areas felt like we were going to put our foot through it. My husband had to fiddle with the toilet float in order to get it to flush. There was an exposed electrical wire in the kitchen.

Perfect cozy home close to all the action and easy access to everything! The decor was and vibe was great. The giant bean bag chair was a family favorite!

The host was very responsive to communication. There is only 1 tv in the living area, I would have appreciated one in the master suite. The property was dirty and the hot water didn’t last through 2 showers.

House needs a lot of work and better cleaning. We booked the house for 3 nights and left after night 1. The bathrooms were dirty, the floors were dirty, floors were falling apart and there was a mouse trap under one of the beds. Neighborhood is a little sketchy. The host was very responsive and apologetic for the conditions which I did appreciate.

Super cute house. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the limited amount of hot water for showering. Host had all the essentials avaialable for use including tooth brushes and tooth paste in case you forget yours. Would definitely book with this host again.

Host was great. Neighborhood was maybe not the safest- we heard gunshots in the middle of the night. Also found a mouse inside the home. Otherwise very good for our quick stay. Had everything we needed.

Place was close to convention center but was not as clean as I wanted. There were gnats everywhere even fridge. Thrre is a hole in the kitchen flooring. Our Contact sent spray and lights via amazon to try to catch gnats so thanks. Took pictures to show. The throw rugs were dirty and you could see it. We spent time away from property due to the gnats.

The home was cute and I appreciate the amount of sleeping area available. There was an issue with fruit flies which we had to create a trap for. The front door also was not working throughout our entire stay. Information was provided in a clear manner. The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans but we could not find a dish sponge (maybe that’s our fault). There was a cute Mexican restaurant within walking distance that was good.

Got this home for my sisters visit for her birthday and it was very nice and comfortable plus there was a park next door for the dogs to run around would stay again 10/10

Great place to stay! Neighborhood was quiet. House was equipped with everything you need, plus some extras that I typically haven’t seen at other properties. Beds were comfy, showers had great pressure. Home was clean and inviting. Loved the Indy artwork on the walls. Internet connection worked great. Roku tv always a plus. Nothing to complain about here and would stay again.

We did have a couple of issues that were quickly addressed by host, and it was nothing that greatly impacted our stay. It must be noted that current construction does not allow this to be a walkable area.

The inside of the home was clean and neat. Appliances were nice and met our expectations. We loved the giant bean bag! Air worked very well. There is one TV in the living room. Any minor concerns were shared with the host and were well recieved. It was a nice stay close to the city. We visited the Zoo (highly recommend) and the canal. Very interesting section of city there. The home is in what seemed to be an innercity neighborhood, very diverse with some run down homes as well as some that were kept better. It was quiet while we were there. Nice park next to the house.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. It was truly a home away from home. The exit requests were simple and minimal. It truly was an amazing display.

We were in town for a convention. The house was close enough for an easy walk to and from the convention center, saving us the headache and expense of parking downtown. It was comfortable, clean, and welcoming.

This location was perfect for us! We were in Indiana for an event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. With 5 people, this location, with an open concept living space, 3 bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms, was perfection! It is centrally located, 15 minutes to the speedway and 15 minutes to the airport. While the homes surrounding it don't shine like this home, we felt safe and comfortable.

About 5 minutes from the downtown amenities, easy to get around. The house was very clean and organized. We had zero complaints about any of the ammenities offered. The price was very cheap for what was being offered.

Location and accommodations were perfect for our extended weekend away!

Our family went to the children’s museum and zoo and both were very close to the home. The house had basic necessities including toothbrushes and toothpaste, extra towels, & plenty of cooking utensils. Our needs were met with this place! So close to the stadium and downtown!

Every thing was perfect

This was our very first VRBO experience. The neighborhood was very run down and not what we were expecting, but we never had any problems on the street and it’s incredibly close to the stadium. Our first night there was some kind of raccoon or rodent in the ceiling above the bedroom with bunk beds. I slept in there with our 2 year old and heard aggressive scratching most of the night. Not a big deal and messaged Jim to let him know. Overall it was fairly clean, but there was hair on the shampoo bottle and dirt left on the shower from whoever stayed there before us. Thankfully we brought our own supplies. All of these things were minor. The problems started our second night when my 2 and 4 year old were playing on the floor in the “kids” bedroom and transferred mouse poop from the floor to the bedding when they got up on the bed. We also found a mouse trap under the bunk bed. I switched the bedding because yuck, but it wasn’t until our last morning that my Dad had mouse droppings all over his bag that was sitting on the floor where he was staying in the master bedroom. The thought that I had let my small kids play on the carpets with mouse droppings in more than just one room is upsetting. Jim did the right thing, in handling this, but I can’t in good conscience not say something. It will be better for someone else once the mouse issue is gone.

The place is nice and stylish had a issue with the heat not working the owner came out to check it out with a professional and when it couldn’t get fixed that day he relocated me to a even better property that was also nice clean and stylish

We enjoyed the house. 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect for us. We enjoyed reading the map hung on the wall. :)

This house was the perfect location just outside of downtown. It’s beautiful and clean. The living room is small there is no way more then maybe three people could sit and not all that comfortably. Communication with the host was great, quick and helpful. We appreciate allowing us to enjoy your little space. Only other thing was the neighborhood was a bit run down. We always felt safe and it was quite.

Easy check in and check out. There was one minor glitch that was corrected immediately by the property manager. Very comfortable house in a great location. This was the second time I have stayed here and I hope to stay again.

We loved this home so much!! Everything inside is new & so nice. It’s such a cozy place where we felt right at home. Jim couldn’t have been a better host….super accommodating, always quick to respond to questions & a very genuinely kind man. We couldn’t have asked for more! Definitely recommend - 5 stars!!

Very cozy place, easy to find and close to uber into town for events. Comfortable beds and pillows, quiet location, spacious and clean. Only down side for 5 stars was we couldn’t start the laundry when we left due to no soap to wash linens, but that has nothing on our end of the stay. Just wish we could have helped in that manner. Other than that it was a great stay. No issues.

My husband and I and our 5 year old headed to Indy to watch our son play at Lucas Oil stadium. He is in the Marching band for a school in Michigan. They were playing in a Band Nationals competition. We arrived late Thursday night but we were able to get in with ease.. Quiet neighborhood but surrounding houses needed updates. Was able to sleep just fine. Close to Lucas Oil stadium which was easy to get to from where the house is. Internet/ WiFi was down but host was very responsive with checking on the issue. Got it to work for us. We did leave Saturday night instead of Sunday morning. We let the host know and listed our suggestions with no response back from him. Not sure if host was mad, but there were some flaws to the stay. 1. There were wet towels and sheets from the previous person, that was never taken care of. 2. There were only 3 wash cloths for the whole stay.Mentioned it to him, said he could order some but nothing was ever done. 3. He said the house was cleaned, but there were candy wrappers under the rug, and in the room with the bunk bed. 4. Whoever cleans the house does not clean very well when you can tell things don’t get moved when cleaning, and things get looked over. 5. The icing on the cake was when we stripped the sheets off the bed and saw the mattress pad/ protector on how dirty it was. There were stains on the one that looked like blood. Would possibly stay here again if the place was actually cleaned.

We were very happy with the stay. We could walk to the venue, shops and restaurants. The house was clean and perfect for our group. The host even left us with Taylor Swift swag.

The house is as listed and communication with Jim was very easy. We went for a Colt's game and walked to the stadium in about 15 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here to be near the Indianapolis Convention Center. Only 9 minutes away. Very clean place, accurate description, and great communication with the owner.

Neighbors called police because my horse trailer did not have license plate. Im from Kentucky, its not required. There was blood on the door trim .crawl space was open. I was concerned critters might get in there.

First night there, needed a later dinner, 8pm. Walked to Back 9 Golf & Entertainment listed on Google as a Bar & Grill. Great find. Went back Saturday for the afternoon to play golf! Easy walk to Lucas Oil Stadium. Although side walks aren’t always pedestrian friendly with overhanging shrubs and heaved concrete, we walked into the downtown district in less than an hour. Besides the location, the house itself was a great fit for 6 adults with 2 full baths and three bedrooms. Even though two of the 3 were only doubles, it was still a comfortable sleep. Place was clean and was well supplied. Even supplied with tea, coffee and filters! What a treat. Thank you so much. Would stay here again if we make the long drive from Ontario, Canada in the future. Fun city to visit!

Enjoyed Our With Family Stay Would Definitely Book Again

I would give a higher rating for ease of check in, check out and communication with manager if that was possible. This place was comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. Hope to stay again.

The house is very nice, very clean, spacious for 4 adults. The only negative from my perspective was the neighborhood. Lots of nice touches. We all are fitted and flat sheet people vs fitted and just the duvet, (which was too warm for us to sleep with and no sheet), so if that's important to you bring a flat sheet for the beds.

We were in town for a Fever game. The house was nice, clean and close to downtown and the zoo.

This was the cutest little but big house! Plenty of room for me but also plenty of room for more guests. It was very clean and decorated beautifully! Perfect Downtown Location!!

We arrived late and easily accessed the house. The neighborhood is quiet, and the house was clean and worked for our needs. It was nice to have towels, sheets, and hair dryers provided. We were able to walk to Lucas Oil Stadium, and the drive to the zoo was short.

The property was as advertised. The location was convenient, and the neighborhood was mostly quiet. The shower in the master bath was a hit. The duvets were warm; top (flat) sheets would have been nice.

Nice place to stay close to down town

The house is cozy. Enough chairs to sit around the table and play games and beds to sleep in. Most people found the beds comfortable. The house was clean for the most part (some dirty tissues/napkins found in the desk drawer in one of the rooms). Flooring by one bedroom had a crack in it but Jim, owner, replied right away when I messaged him about it. No “front yard” and back yard seemed overgrown. Neighborhood seemed to be on the edge of feeling like we were in a safe area - felt very safe in the house and going to and from the car. Close enough to walk to downtown (convention center / stadium) however, didn’t feel safe to walk there. A couple notes to: ‘*. poor water pressure in tip shower head due to leak at base of shower head to wall (other bathroom has very good water pressure in shower. ** May want to look at replacing some pots and pans (very overused) and get some serving bowls and more coffee cups. ** recommend a step stool for the kitchen. Drawstring to the kitchen window is very high along with the cabinets and our party had to keep standing in chairs. ** very impressed with all the ceiling fans in the rooms, but the one room without a fan got very stuffy. A floor fan would be nice to have in the closet. These are a few things we noticed over the four days. They did not hinder our trip. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and a very fast and easy drive to everywhere we needed to get to!
