New Waterfront Modern Farmhouse on Tisbury Great Pond

I cannot recommend this property highly enough. The home is pristine and the location is excellent. Our three older children stayed at one end of the house (in beautiful en suite bedrooms) and my husband and I had our own wing. Everything was clean, bright and very user friendly. The outdoor shower gets afternoon sun, so showering after a long day at the beach was the best! Whether you want to go to the barrier beach, drive to longpoint, south beach or drive on to Norton Point, staying in West Tisbury is well worth it. Loved everything about our week at this property. My only hope is no one reads this review so we can book again next summer :)

This home met every hope and expectation. It is as beautiful, if not more so, as it appears in the photos. We enjoyed the kayaks and the board games, loved visiting with the horses at the farm down the lane, and just soaked in the peace and tranquility. The owner also was lovely and responsive. We very much hope to return.

Beautifully-designed/maintained home on an exquisite plot of land on a beautiful road in an extraordinary setting overlooking a coastal pond with access to a barrier beach on the Atlantic. We rented bikes & a boat and loved every moment. Will be back!

I can’t say enough about this beautiful home. Every detail is stylish, chic, and thoughtfully appointed. The bedrooms are spacious, full of light and air, and the kitchen is open, bright, and so inviting. We loved hanging out and talking inside and outside in the beautiful spaces and having a screened in porch was a special treat. Each day we discovered more outdoor beauty on the pond, nearby beach, and hikes. Sherri checked in regularly and was super responsive. A great vacation!

We were the lucky first renters of this idyllic waterfront home. It was just what we were looking for, secluded when you wanted privacy but close enough to any attraction on the island. The location is picturesque and blissfully quiet along one of the many dirt roads leading to the beach. We rented a skiff for the short jaunt through the pond to the private beach, which was a daily highlight for the kids. Our family of six were thrilled to have so much space to spread out and a gourmet kitchen to prepare the treasures we found at the farmer's market. The knives were even sharp! We had a mix of weather during our stay, everything from hot and humid to extreme fog to flat out downpours, and were thankful for the cozy, homey atmosphere this house offered. Sherri is a gracious hostess and her caretaker responsive yet invisible. We hope to find our way back next year!
