Was not as advertised correctly. I thought it was a good deal but then it was doubled after owner realized it was Super Bowl weekend. This propert is not worth $500 a night unless it is the Super Bowl. Not $1250. Pretty clean but pool table had 5-6 rips in it and was full of chalk stains. Outdoor pool was full of leaves and filthy. Master walk-in closet had a whole in the wall. Garden tub was poorly caulked and walls had filth marks on them. Outdoor patio furniture is way outdated and falling apart. Garage had toddler toys scattered around, had trash and empty boxes in it along with loose pop cans (coke & Dr.Pepper? Goose ball was for 7-10 year olds. Best features of this house is the washer, dryer and the apparent Jacuzzi my Buddy’s and I bought. We are over 30 and will not return.
To start, I had to message the property manager a couple times to get the information to get into the house. We were starting to wonder if it was even going to be available. Then when we arrived every door in the house was unlocked, which was a little strange. It’s a nice sized house and was very clean with nice beds. I was very disappointed with the hot water supply which was basically gone after two short showers. It was also quite dark on the inside. The outside of the property is facing so there is no place to sit in the sun other than the front porch step and one small pool edge. We thought when it said the pool was solar heated, it meant solar power heated. We felt tricked when we realized that meant heated by the sun, which was a joke since the sun only hit 1/3 of the pool for two hours of the day. The water was freezing and pool was filthy. There are fruit trees in the backyard which were amazing. The neighborhood was nice and felt very safe. Overall the house was fine, but we should have paid half the price we paid.
This property was just as it appears online, easy communication and great location!
This house was clean and well equipped for our visit. The check in and out process was seamless. It was everything that was advertised and the location was perfect for us. We had no issues during our stay and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Scottsdale area.
Everything was great. The house doesn't have many lights, so it's a bit darker than I'd like. Bring paper towels and spices - if you'll be using them. They didn't have many.
We loved the pool and outdoor area as well as the living room and bedrooms! It was spot on to the pictures and definitely would stay again!
Great location if you enjoy mountain biking or hiking. House is well stocked - a few things need updated/upgraded. Pool is solar heated so plan to bring a wet suit, otherwise it's quite cold this time of year. Beds are very comfortable. Owner is attentive. Overall we had a great stay.
The location of this property is perfect. Close enough to Scottsdale/Phoenix without being “in the city”. Quiet, friendly and well-maintained neighborhood. House was great and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Property owners are local, welcoming and very responsive, though we had zero issues. We’ll definitely be looking at this property first for our next trip to the area. Thanks, Chris!
Overall, great location and great property! The layout is great for a couple or a family. The pool area is fitting for the property and neighborhood, yet limited for seating around 3 sides of the pool. Nevertheless, one is still able to enjoy the setting. Our stay had several cloudy days, keeping the pool quite cold due to the water needing solar heat in order to be heated. By the last day it had started to warm up. Upon arrival, we found the kitchen to have a nice layout, though limited in furnishings. We reached out to Chris, the owner, and by the next morning, he showed up with a number of items to help finish furnishing what was needed. While some areas needed a light wipe down, over all it was a great setting! The pool table area is sufficient but tight. The table needs repairs but still provided hours of entertainment for the kids. A huge shout out to Chris, the owner, who readily reached out to us to ensure our stay went well and always responded in a timely manner, almost consistently immediately after messaging him. He desires his guests to have a great stay and responded accordingly! Chris made Check in and Check out extremely easy! This property is well on its way to being a great VRBO landing spot! Keep up the great work Chris! Cave Creek is a beautiful community on its own yet sufficiently nearby many attractions throughout the valley area! We strongly recommend this place and this area to anyone visiting the region!
We had a great time! We were extremely grateful for the prompt communication with the host! One thing I did find a little difficult was getting Lyft or Uber’s because this is out of the city. Not that you can’t walk but it’s about a 30min walk to the store! Next time we might just rent a car instead! Otherwise it was super clean and there was plenty of space! My friend and o were raving about the bed, idk what they have but it was like sleeping in a cloud! Any issues we had they were great about helping coming up with solutions, so again thank you Chris for the stay! Would love to stay again!
