E Komo Mai to the Aloha Cottage at Puamana! We have taken pride into making this our best hale yet! We absolutely know that you and your ohana are going to love it! We spared no expenses when doing a complete gut and remodel of this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Puamana condo. We took risks and wanted to ensure that this unit was our dream home and unique in every way imaginable.

We are centrally located in Puamana, a gated 35 acre community in the heart of Lahaina town, at the South end of the world famous Front Street Lahaina! We are less than a 2 minute walk to the waters edge and beach access which is unique in Puamana. Carry your beach chairs (provided by us) and a sunset cocktail to the large grassy lawn to watch sunset every evening while watching surfers at the amazing surf break called Hot Sands. We are a 30 second walk to the Dolphin Pool which is right through a grassy path in front of our home. This makes it easy for a quick dip in the pool every morning and evening. Our unit is near the road, however, we took this into account during our remodel. We installed double pane windows, central AC with separate room units, all new insulation and drywall, black out blinds and curtains in the loft and bedrooms, and have a water feature on the back lanai.

During our remodel we wanted to have a feel for a classy beach home with a touch of farmhouse. The best of both worlds in our opinion! We have shiplap walls we installed, a large porcelain farm sink in the kitchen, carrera marble countertops, and floating Mango wood shelves straight from uncles farm in Hana, Maui. We have all brand new GE Artistry appliances that resemble those from the 60s era and a floating stainless steel range hood. We installed an ice maker and water filtration system perfect for your cocktail using the Ninja blender. We have a love for fresh fruit smoothies so we couldn’t skimp on the blender. Go pick Mangos from the 3 large Mango trees on the property and add them to your blended drink for a daily refresher straight from the ‘aina (land). We have a kureig coffee maker, because who doesn’t these days! You don’t want to have to wait too long for your morning coffee to sit on the back lanai with.

The back lanai is larger than the majority of other Puamana units and has all hand carved teak furniture straight from the island of Bali. With many sitting spots to choose from you can have your Puamana ohana over for a BBQ. There is cafe lighting and a large market umbrella to make the lanai enjoyable all hours of the day. There is also an outdoor shower perfect for rinsing off after surfing Hot Sands (less than a 2 minute walk from the condo). We even have beach chairs, sand toys, a beach umbrella, beach towels, boogie boards and snorkel equipment for your use during your stay.

The main living room has a wall mounted 65” smart tv, plenty of seating with an open floor concept, perfect for watching movies while entertaining. The wall collage has all things Maui and lots of ALOHA! There is even a reading nook to feel like you can escape into a good book. Serve wine from the wine fridge and wine closet to your friends and family!

The guest bathroom is one of my statement rooms with the pineapple wallpaper perfect for Maui! It has a large standup shower with a foot rest for the females who want to shave their legs. The shower has solid seamless glass and a carrera marble sink vanity.

The master bedroom has plush 4 post california king bed with a 5 inch mattress topper, high end sheets and bedding. There are black out blinds and curtains in the room so that you can fully take advantage of your Maui vacation and sleep in or perfect for the little napper after a long day at the beach. The bedroom has a closet and a shelving unit to unpack. It also has a built in dresser with marble top and high end Bosch washer and dryer! You won’t need to be using the laundry mat, just throw a load of laundry in during your vacation. The bedroom has a wall mounted 40” tv perfect for tv watching while laying in bed. The master bathroom has a farmhouse theme, high end travertine tiled shower and seamless glass doors.

As if this weren’t enough, there is the loft space which is perfect for all ages! There is a queen sized bed with Maui’s own Maka Sea collection bedding. A sitting area to escape to if traveling with different families. A play area for your keiki (kids) traveling with you, and a baby gate to ensure safety from the stairs. The best part about the loft is the movie room! A wall mounted 60” UHDTV TV, two huge comfy foam filled bean bag seats, floor pillows, games, and a popcorn machine! There is also a single unit central ac unit installed to ensure maximum comfort.

We have a queen size sleeper sofa in our Living Room for additional sleeping arrangements if necessary :)

Puamana is located at the South end of Front Street which makes it a short drive, bike ride, or enjoyable walk into town to shop Front Street, grab groceries, eat dinner, catch a show, or a boat ride adventure from Lahaina Harbor. We are also a quick drive to two other great beaches, Baby Beach and Launiupoko Beach Park. We are close to all of the West Side attractions and about a 30 minute drive to the airport.

You really won’t be disappointed with our home! It is an end unit, with minimal human traffic and is super private! We really can’t wait for you to enjoy this piece of paradise!! Aloha A Hui Ho

    Hosts responded promptly to all questions. Cottage is super convenient to Lahaina shops, restaurants. All was very clean and nicely appointed. Beds were super comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more.

    Very nice condo/villa! This is a perfect place to stay that is centrally located to just about everything on the island. All the amenities you need to feel like a home away from home. Nestled in a quiet gated community with local residents as well as travelers.The community is right on the coast with amazing views. If you’re looking for a place away from the tourist mecca hotel type accommodations, this is the ideal place the stay. Rent a car, stay in a quiet, affordable, and centrally located home, and enjoy this laid back island. We stayed in Honolulu for the 2nd half of our trip and the hotel atmosphere and hustle and bustle made us realize how nice this place was. I’d definitely stay here again.

    Loved our stay at the Aloha Cottage. Property was clean and neat. Kitchen was well stocked which made cooking for the kids easy. Loved the outdoor lanai. Great spot for families and kids. Easy close beach access, but also easy drive to stores and restaurants in Lahaina. Nearby beaches were also great. Would definitely stay again.

    1st impression upon entering Aloha Cottage: this place is super cute! After sound sleep in the 4-poster bed, which had the most comfortable sleeping pillows we'd ever encountered away from home, we experienced the 1st sunrise on Maui, enhanced by presence of fragrant frangipani blossoms overhead and at our feet. Next thing to catch the eye were palms, banana plants, two porch swings, and an outside daybed. We spent a few early mornings exploring the property and the gated community within which it is situated, walking right up to the beach, swimming in the private pool, enjoying the lovely landscaping. Bed-bathroom suite is separate from 2nd bath downstairs, and upstairs,2nd bedroom with great views. Within the recently redecorated Aloha Cottage, there is no evidence of the tragic August 2023 Lahaina Wildfires, but a few hundred yards away from the property, it's apparent how hard this lovely beachfront gated neighborhood was hit. Cleanup had already taken place, so this evidence in no way detracted from our visit. In fact, the (quiet) rebuilding that is in progress around the neighborhood and surrounding town has us cheering Lahaina Strong, and imagining a return visit to this very same Aloha Cottage sometime in the future. The host provided a list of fun things and places to eat around Maui, and within Lahaina itself there is a conveniently located Safeway supermarket and ABC Stores for souvenirs and fun and useful things for yourself.

    The property was clean and well equipped. First impression was positive. Unfortunately the washer and dryer did not work well. This was a requirement when looking for a place to stay. Upon checking out we learned they were actually broken.

    It was very clean and well equipped. Backyard seating area was very comfortable, but be aware that there will be some traffic noise when you're outside. Convenient location, covered parking for 1 vehicle. Outstanding host - always got back to me within a few minutes.

    The property is as advertised and in the perfect family-friendly community. We slept like royalty! The backyard area is perfect for lunch after a day at the beach, including the outdoor shower. Communication with the owner was always prompt and clear. We would absolutely return!
