Guests staying at The Marshlight Escape enjoy exclusive access to this professionally designed, marsh-front retreat. Guests are welcome to use the laundry area and all common living spaces during their stay. A small number of owner storage closets are locked and not accessible to guests.

This home is located in a quiet residential area, offering a peaceful setting while still being just steps from the beach. Everything you need for a comfortable, memorable stay is available exclusively to you and your group.

We’re always just a message away and are available throughout your stay to answer questions, offer local recommendations, or assist with anything you need.
While we respect your privacy, we’re here to ensure your stay at The Marshlight Escape is seamless, comfortable, and memorable.

☆☆ OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE ☆☆

-Guests must sign a Guest Agreement, provide a valid photo id, and be at least 25-years-old to book.

-For mutual protection and to ensure a smooth check-in, guests are required to complete a Guest Verification after booking.

-No parties. While we understand that guests will gather for celebration amongst their group, no parties or outside guests are allowed.

-No pets of any kind allowed.

-No smoking allowed in the home or on the balconies.

-The pool is not heated.

-For guest safety and security, security cameras have been installed in exterior entryways.

-Ten parking spaces are provided

-We offer a starter pack of essentials like toilet paper, laundry pods, dish pods, etc, but do not replenish them during your stay.

-We strongly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance to protect against a change in plans due to illness or weather (especially if traveling during hurricane season). We are unable to make exceptions to our cancellation policy.


-This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $3000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $4 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

To make this process easy for you, we use a secure and very simple, app-free platform called Happy Guest. It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.

Your guest portal includes advertisements with third-party upgrades that you may want to enhance your stay.
