New rental property, The Oasis

Everything was wonderful, but won’t stay at this property again due to street noise.Property abuts with the Kiawah Island Parkway.Very noisy.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice and close to everything. The pool was delightful nd refreshing. The open patio was great to get a break from the hot sun but the chairs around the table could use some maintenance. When I first sat down in one of the chairs it kept going back until I was on the floor staring at the ceiling. We moved that chair and had to pull other chairs over from another table. The dining room table was quite nice but the chairs were so big and bulky which made them difficult to maneuver. The kitchen was nice and it was especially helpful to have two refrigerators (one in the garage) to store cold goods. The front door and the door from the patio into the master suite were very difficult to shut as weather stripping was loose and dangling. The front door deadbolt locks were difficult to close. Most all those issues were maintenance related. We enjoyed our week at the home and would gladly return to Kiawah Island again. The rental company was responsive to all our requests.

The kids loved the pool. The kitchen was stocked with all the things you need to cook meals. We rented bikes and loved being able to take rides all over the island. We loved our stay and enjoyed the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was incredibly convenient to all the golf courses. We were able to come home and have lunch after playing. The grill was perfect and it was nice that it was off to one side. We ate most of our meals out on the patio overlooking the pool. The house was spacious and clean and had everything we needed. We did enjoy renting bikes and riding to the beach. If you were walking, it’s a little bit far to take your beach stuff. We would stay there again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The price of home does not reflect the inferior. House has a musty smell and the AC was not working properly. Exterior needs landscaping. We were disappointed since the house also backs up to main road in Kiawah and it was constantly very noisy. The dining chairs were falling apart and the microwave was missing the glass dish. Some of these issues could have been avoided if the home was properly maintained and checked before renting. At the high cost per night we did anticipate a home that had less issues.

The house was the perfect set up for our group. The 3 couples had king size beds with their own bath attached. The children had twin bed room We were near the playground and were able to bike everywhere. The pool area was great, however, the pool water was cold.

The house was very comfortable for eight people. It was clean and the location was good. Just a few minutes drive to the beach and golf. Kitchen was well equipped.

Loved the pool! Close to the beach. Very clean lots of space.

The pool was amazing, the beds were so comfortable, the bathrooms were stellar and the living room was the perfect place to unwind. Renting bikes was a huge win and we were close to a not so crowded area at the beach. One of the best things was being able to quickly get access to help/questions when you needed or had them. The only thing we had a hard time with was the front door locks and key. It was hard to lock from the outside.
