Beautiful, huge house with ideal layout.

We had a great time in this beautiful home. It was spacious, clean, and not too far from all the fun activities. Our hosts were easy to work with and kind. Thanks for having us in your home.

We had questions when we arrived and the owner immediately responded which I appreciate.

We loved this place. It was clean comfortable for our group of 10 people. Kitchen had all the necessary equipment/appliances. The house is in a peaceful and secluded neighbourhood, about 15 minutes driving distance from the Galena downtown.

We had a sister’s trip and stay at this place. There was enough room for everyone. Everyone loved the place. The only thing that was mentioned is we thought it was on a lake with access to the lake from the house. It is on the lake but there is no access to the lake from the house. The communication was great and a lovely place. We would stay here again. Thank you for a great place to stay and vacation!

communication with owner was GREAT. check in process a breeze. property description was spot on; a great place. only issue encountered was the gas grill needing a major cleaning.

We had a great time, plenty of room, and things to do with the kids. A good destination for families. It would have been nice to have Kleenex, napkins, and large pots for cooking. We went to Walmart and bought two large pots to use, which we left for future guests. Our only real issue was the ice dispenser that was frozen and would not dispense ice.

It was a beautiful home with lots of space for our extended family reunion/vacation. We enjoyed staying there very much and our host was very helpful with any questions that we may have had.

Couples from Iowa, Nebraska and Minnesota enjoyed the location, house, pool, and marina. Went shopping downtown and out to eat. The house had everything we needed. Would consider staying again. Thank you.

This is a wonderful property and it worked perfectly for our girls' weekend. Very clean, spacious and well stocked... with thoughtful amenities in every one of the five bedrooms and bathrooms. The master suite is fabulous! Large private deck and fire pit great for socializing. We would highly recommend this home in Galena Territory.

We had family members from 3 states, children through adult, meet at this beautiful home for a long weekend. The home was clean and functional for our group that likes to cook/grill out, enjoys bonfires, all the outdoor activities, and a good movie night. The home has easy access to all that Galena has to offer and the boys of local resort amenities. We would recommend this location for families or would be perfect for a couples or girls getaway!

My wife and I like to take our adult children and grandson on trips that are within a few hours of our homes. The house was perfect for our family. The pictures were accurate and showed the great layout. The owners club was fantastic. We enjoyed it Saturday and Sunday at the pool. The basement was great, pool table, darts, and plenty of games for our grandson. The host, Terri, was extremely easy to reach and help us out with a couple of questions that we had. Very simple check in/out process. We would highly recommend this place for a family gathering.

We gathered here as a meeting spot for family in who live in Iowa and Central Illinois. We enjoyed using the fire pit and deck areas. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed for making meals. Beds were comfy. Lots of space in home. Kids enjoyed the pool table in basement. Location was easy to find.

Good choice for large group. 5BR, 6BA. Very helpful host.
