A secluded mountain retreat within minutes of Waitsfield’s shopping and restaurants while abutting hiking and mountain biking trails. This 4 bedroom house sleeps 14 comfortably. A master suite on the first floor gives plenty of privacy and includes a king bed. The 2nd floor provides two large guest rooms; one with a king and the other with 2 queen beds. Stayed Aug 8, 2025Beautiful house and country landscape. The hosts were accommodating and responsive. The one helpful hint would be that the road is dirt with many pit holes and slight wash outs from storms so don’t take your low to the ground car on the road

Stayed Jun 25, 2025We stayed at this beautiful home in the woods of Vermont for a large family trip, including several small children, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. It had plenty of room for everyone to relax and enjoy. It had everything we needed: a fully stocked kitchen with cooking supplies, utensils, plates, and even a grill, plus essentials like toiletries, a washer and dryer, and more.Even though it feels like a peaceful escape tucked into the woods, it’s surprisingly close to stores and restaurants, which made things super convenient, especially with kids!We did have a surprise encounter with a bear that had gotten into the outside garbage (as expected in the woods of Vermont!), but the host responded immediately and sent someone out to secure the area and help ensure it wouldn’t happen again. We really appreciated how quickly and seriously it was handled, it made us feel safe and well cared for.The host was amazing throughout our stay, very friendly and quick to answer any questions. This was one of our favorite family trips, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped home away from home!
