Cle Elum, Washington
A newly built 2020 square foot Rambler, central air with a thermostat controlled propane fireplace. The neighborhood consists of 3 to 30 acre parcels. Hidden Valley, a dead end road next to state and private property, was once a 600 acre dry wheat farm. A wonderful setting to relax, have a cup of coffee or glass of wine and take in the stunning natural beauty the area has to offer.
Had a great stay! Elk roamed through the area. The home was cozy and inviting with a warm fireplace and cozy decor. Views were beautiful and the location was quiet and peaceful. Adult family of 5 plus our little dogs were very comfortable. Host was very responsive, caring and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!
This property was perfect.
We had a wonderful trip and very much enjoyed the spacious house, dramatic views from the valley, and being so close to Roslyn and CleElum lakes. I would definitely recommend this listing, my wife and I look forward to coming back.
Our daughter was getting married a short distance away so this was the perfect location for us to land. Although we didn't stay there much during the day as we were wrapped up with the wedding, it was the perfect accommodation for us. Very clean, spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. Quiet, relaxing with comfortable beds which was appreciated after long days with wedding details.
My annual run away from fireworks brought me here, with my 2 dogs. The house is quite new, nicely furnished & very comfortable. My lifted truck even fit in the garage, which was a major added bonus for me, with my dogs, & the heat with a dark colored vehicle. Beautiful sunsets right out the big windows, & a couple deer also ventured by. (Brave with 2 labs sitting on the patio). Bed was very comfortable & bathroom nicely appointed. One note, however, is that there are not darkening shades/blinds on the windows, & it is light early & late in the summer, so if that disturbs you, a sleep/eye mask is recommended. Kitchen has everything needed (except a wine /bottle stopper- just FYI if you plan on needing one - I just finished the bottle instead...) Other item to note is that there are no screens on the windows. I love fresh air & listening to the birds & horses, etc, so this was a minor bummer, but not a major inconvenience. Should you choose to have a window or slider open regardless, insects do get in. The surrounding property of the house is pretty baren, but be aware (if you're not familiar with this landscape), the grass is not soft, & little burrs & seeds get attached to dog hair or clothing. Last noteworthy thing is for first arrival; google maps/waze are accurate, but be aware that the mailbox will be on your right & driveway is on the left. Velma was very communicative, friendly & available to any questions or concerns.
We just loved your place and so much so we have already recommended it to a few friends. It has pretty much everything you need. Beds were very comfortable. It is a little out of town but that made for a very quite and relaxing time. We would definitely stay here again in the future.
