Great house for a fsmily retreat. Good location, clean, and easy check in. we will definatrly be back
This is a well loved but EXTREMELY dated house with an unreasonable property manager. My daughter, son in law and their two children under the age of 3 arrived at 2:30 and notwithstanding the fact that the house was ready they were refused entry to give the kids naps because of “policy”. The same reason was given at 3:30. Since they were parked in the driveway the whole time while their children napped in the car it was clear the house was and had been ready. Promptly at 4 the lock code worked. I’ve been a VRBO manager and that’s just a ridiculous stance to take! The house itself needs a serious facelift —I’m sure most of the appliances including the ancient white Mr. Coffee drip coffee maker original to the house. The towels were fine, although some beach towels would have been nice. But the linens were shiny with age and the pillows were like rocks. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners allow condiments like ketchup and spices to stay which I really appreciated. At the very least update the coffee maker! Because the house is SO dated and the management company so unreasonable I felt the house was really dirty whether it was or not! The TVs run on some incomprehensible system that only young people can run. I don’t get why the rate doesn’t buy a cable connection. Outside it needs a good power washing. If you are looking for a place to lay your head it is probably fine but if you are wanting to enjoy your environment keep looking.
