New Listing Contemporary Cottage in the Woods viewing a Private Spring Fed Pond

The location of the house was great. The pond towards the backyard was very lovely. The owner of the house states that she works in the hotel industry and tries to make this a luxury property. The house needs a lot of repair. We turn the heat on one night because it was cold and we were unable to turn off the heat despite turning off the thermostat. It took the owner a very long time to respond to us each time we had an issue. Since we were told it was a luxury stocked home, we assumed that it would have a blender, there would be nice accompaniments in the bathrooms. However, we were surprised at the sparseness and the lack of amenities given how the house was described.

The property is lovely, the space is very comfortable, and we had a great stay. Natalie was very communicative and we enjoyed ourselves greatly. There were, however, a couple of problems: 1) There was no TV. 2) The spa can only be heated by hot tapwater and is too big for the hot water supply, so I only had a brief *lukewarm* spa. This was a shame since we were excited about this aspect. 3) The internet speed was very slow. This may just be a necessary consequence of the location I suppose.

Our family of 5 enjoyed a week in the woods at Natalie's beautiful home. We could cross country ski and snowshoe right out the front door, access the Appalachian trail within a 15-minute drive, and warm up by the fireplace at the end of each day. The bedrooms are simple and elegant and the kitchen has all the tools needed to prepare a light snack or a winter feast. Natalie was very responsive to even the smallest request.

House is beautiful and perfect to support 2 families. Really enjoyed our stay and cant wait to go back! Host was very nice and accommodating. Strongly recommend.
