Villa Lago is located directly on Mt. Major Highway, a bustling road, but we've supplied white noise machines to aid in minimizing any noise disturbance during sleep.

Pet Policy: Please let us know if your furry friend will be joining you during your stay. We ask that you keep your pet leashed while outside at all times and that you pick up after your pet.
Please note the following house rule violations will result in fines:
• Smoking $1500
• Parties or events $1500
• Unapproved late check out $250
• The property has a maximum occupancy limit, and exceeding this number may result in penalties. Please ensure that your party stays within the allowed guest limit to avoid any additional charges.
• Damages - subject to the cost of the item for repair or replacement

Quiet Hours:
Quiet hours are 9pm to 9am , please be aware of your surroundings during this time and take appropriate actions to ensure NOT to disturb others.
Pet Policy:
We must be notified in advance that you will be bringing a pet(s), and weight of your pet(s).
-Pet must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest.
-All guests will be charged a one-time flat fee of $40.00 per pet per day or a flat $200 fee for weekly stays.
-Guest agrees to clean up animal waste of the pet(s) and agrees to accept full responsibility and liability for any damage, injury, or actions arising from or caused by pet(s).
-All pets must be in crates if left unattended, and cannot cause any disturbance, to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced .
-Pet(s) cannot be left alone for more than 3 hours, cannot be left outside unattended, and must be on a leash when outside.
We are located in Alton Bay, and within walking distance to restaurants, the marina, and all that the lake has to offer.
This property is a 20 minute drive to Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion
Ice Fishing, fishing derbies: we have direct access utilizing the stairs to the beach, please use caution.

We LOVED the hot tub and the game room (outdoor entrance). Perfect spot for our family of five!
We came for a night to celebrate my son's 14th birthday. We brought 7 of his friends. It was perfect for them, they loved the pool table and game room, as well as the hot tub. It was definitely smaller than I expected based on the pictures, so we were packed in a little closer than I thought we would be. But it was great for what we needed and the boys had a blast.
This was our first time staying on Lake Winni and we really enjoyed it. We had up to 8 people total staying with us and our 2 golden retrievers and it was perfect. It was wonderful to be right on the water with a dock. We also rated paddle boards for the week from the same company, which was great. We would definitely stay here again.
Host was great, and was extremely awesome you could rent a boat and house from one person
Highly recommend staying at this property if you like lake living.

Great spot for us ! Location on water and walking distance to some small shops. Restaurants (4) ice cream places (3) mini golf
House was in a great location on the lake, with easy lake access. We rented a boat and had an easy time getting in and out of the boat slip. House had all the amenities that we needed. Owners were very quick to respond to questions. Only big drawback for this house is it being so close to a very busy road, but we really enjoyed our stay!
We had a great week at this property. It's definitely campy but that's perfect for us. The waterfront has a great dock for your boat and sandy bottom swimming area. Plenty of chairs and the game room was a huge hit! Inside there are 2 kitchens! Great communication from Steve! House also includes amenities not listed like Cornhole boards, kayaks and a huge Bluetooth speaker to use. Would definitely stay here again!
We had an amazing time on the lake. The property was perfect. Second time renting from Steve and we were not disappointed!
There are major red flags with this property. First of all the windows in the front of the building are absolutely disgusting. They are severely deteriorated and covered in dust, mold, and flaking paint. The one in the front kitchen is so disintegrated that the bottom is falling off and it cannot be locked. They were all stuffed with old brown-stained paper towels in an effort to keep the water out. There are visible gaps to the outside of the property. It is also just a few feet from a busy road and there are no curtains or blinds. There was other various damage to the property such as water damaged ceiling tiles, tears in the carpet, and damaged door seals. The house has a strong dank/smokey odor. The top bunk bed had a broken bed slat underneath that was very sharp, and we found a nail protruding from the wall where our kid was playing. We went looking for pots and pans to cook and were shocked to find the drawer under the stove with the cookware was full of mouse droppings. Both of the kitchen areas had a small device plugged in to an outlet which turned out to be ultrasonic rodent repellent devices - so it is clear that the owner is aware of a rodent problem. We also found mouse droppings in one of the utensil drawers. There is an undisclosed security camera pointed at the hot tub, which made us uncomfortable to the point where we would not use it. The second day a crew of landscapers showed up with no notice from the owner. Three of them were using very loud leaf blowers and proceeded to move around the property clearing leaves, waking up the baby, etc. Most of the windows have no curtains so they were able to see right inside. The owner was quick to dismiss the issues when we brought them up but really had no excuse for the mouse droppings, even though it is clearly a known issue with the property. They claimed the windows were being fixed “next week” and they just became aware of them. Well, what good does that do us? They clearly have been in a state of decay for months based on the amount of dust and detritus on them. They offered to move us to an adjacent property, but this was not an acceptable solution. The one thing they would not do is offer any refund whatsoever. There is a reason this property has a no-refund policy. We booked for 4 nights and only stayed one - it was a massive waste of money and we have no recourse to get any back. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else.
