Your oceanfront relaxing getaway awaits you in Dauphin Island at this newly constructed beautiful home in the gated community of DeSoto Landing. Community use includes swimming pool and tennis court. (Bring own tennis equipment.) With a newly widened beach out front, there is TONS of beach space for fun!!

Only home on the island that is run by solar power with 3 Tesla Powerwall backup batteries. What does this mean for you When the power goes off on the island, thehouse still has power!!! Refrigerator on Yes! AC on Yes! Lights on Yes! Do you have to flip a switch or manually do anything for this to happen No! Keep in mind if the power does go out the less energy you use, the longer the batteries will last during the night.

With 6 bedrooms, including 2 king beds, 4 queen beds, 2 fulls and 4 twins (bunks), there's plenty of space for all your guests BUT - Community Rules - only 12 occupants, day or night allowed (regardless of age - does not mean 12 adults plus children). Island rules - 6 cars max at this property.

The upstairs king master is equipped with a jetted bathtub for ultimate relaxation and a hot tub on its own private balcony. PLEASE WASH OFF SAND BEFORE USING EITHER! NO FOOD OR GLASS CONTAINERS IN HOT TUB!

Enjoy the convenience of amenities like high speed internet, two living spaces/dining areas and two sets of W/Ds. Interior double doors can be closed for some quiet time away from the crowd, or left open for easy flow of togetherness. Smart TVs in every living space and bedroom. Kitchen stocked with everything you'll need - large boiling pots, toaster oven, toaster, blender, mixer, crockpot, mixing bowls, cookware, Rubbermaid food storage containers, baking dishes, measuring cups/spoons, blender, colanders, regular drip coffee maker, kids dishes and utensils. All linens, bath towels/cloths, kitchen towels etc. included. 12 Beach Towels. Iron and ironing board provided. Toys in bunk rooms. Our place will help you feel at home while you're traveling in Dauphin Island.

Spacious gulf facing deck (partial covered) with tons of comfortable deck furniture, deck table, portable cooler on wheels and private boardwalk leading to the beach. Baby gate on deck for stair opening. 2 baby gates for inside stairs.

Newly added (2026) garage doors for added privacy in the under house area! One door remains locked as the owner area, but the other one is available to guests!

This property would make a great place for a corporate retreat or large families/friends who want to be together, but can also have separate space as desired.

BBQ grill - bring charcoal. Beach wagon, beach toys, beach chairs and umbrellas, crab nets, sand toys and bicycles are included for your stay. Hammocks and kids playground under house in the sand. Play at your own risk!

Hand soap and shower gels are in each bathroom.
The 13 gallon and 23 gallon trashcans have starter bags; bring extra for your stay.
Starter roll of toilet paper in each bathroom; bring extra for your stay.
Starter roll of paper towels in kitchen; bring extra for your stay.
Small dish soap at kitchen sink.
Laundry and dishwasher pods included for final run of each upon departure; bring extra for your stay.

Reservations are required by the neighborhood to be 7 nights minimum, so any day of the week except Saturday can be the start and finish of your stay! (Example: Monday-Monday, Wednesday-Wednesday, etc.) Please message if you have questions and we will try to accommodate!

NO SMOKING - damages will be charged.
NO CANDLES - damages will be charged.
NO PETS - damages will be charged.
Neighborhood rules do not allow Campers/RVs, boats or trailers to be parked on the property, or golfcarts to be parked in driveway (must be kept under the house on the carport).

Wi-Fi is a courtesy service offered. Highspeed internet with great connection speeds, which are generally very good, but can be spotty at different times on the island. The owner cannot assume responsibility and will offer no refunds for outages or slow-downs that may occur. A good recommendation would be for you to bring a hotspot if internet is essential during your stay.

Concrete under house is great for sidewalk chalk, roller skating, skateboarding, corn hole games (bring all your own, not provided - just ideas).

Outdoor security cameras on property - none indoors.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Guests who cancel a reservation at least 60 days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount they've paid. Cancellation between 30 and 60 days before check-in, a 50% refund will be issued. Cancellation 0-29 days before check-in, no refund will be issued. If there is a named storm with a projected path to Dauphin Island that makes landfall and a mandatory evacuation is issued during the dates of your stay, you will receive a refund for the unused portion of your stay. Refunds are not given due to inclement weather. Any stay, or part of a stay, that occurs after mandatory evacuation is lifted, is not eligible for cancellation or refund. Refunds or discounts will not be given due to surrounding area activity, construction and/or repairs on any other nearby properties, which may take place during your stay. Any third party action is beyond our control.

    Beautiful home, beautiful views, well stocked with everything you need for a vacation. WiFi worked wonderfully, I’m sure to support the camera connections. We have been coming to Dauphin Island for nearly 40 years, and my husbands family much longer and have never met an unfriendly soul. This community is a misrepresentation of Dauphin Island, the neighbor one house from this home (617) is territorial, dog barks constantly, and he is on guard for all things HOA. The locals in this neighborhood clearly do not want renters there. I get the vibe that this house has a target on its back with the HOA. The listing indicates great for large families/corporate retreats. Be mindful large families/corporate events, cannot exceed 12. The HOA rules were not communicated in the listing when we booked which turned this trip into a nightmare. (The owner has since updated this to make clear). There are literally 12 beds in a home that can only have 12 people. There is enough patio furniture for nearly 20. Sleeping space for 18. No visitors either, 12 occupants period. This includes children. People are watching. As stated we have stayed on the island many times, we come twice a year now. This is the first house I have ever been in where I felt like we didn’t have any sort of privacy. There are cameras everywhere. I felt like I was on an episode of Big Brother.The owner was kind, super easy to work with prior to the trip, but our situation could have been handled differently.

    The house and property were immaculate. Plenty of room for our large group and just a short walk to the beach. Our host made communication super easy and answered any questions promptly! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a laid back beach vacation.

    Our stay at this gorgeous Dauphin Island vacation home was incredible! The house was clean, spacious, and perfect for our multi-generational family. The extra fridge was a big bonus since we stayed for a week and mostly ate in. The beautiful views and sunsets were unforgettable, and the private boardwalk to the white sandy beach made it so easy to enjoy the water and shell hunting. The island’s peaceful pace added to the relaxation. The hot tub was also a nice addition. We truly felt at home here. The host was incredibly responsive and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this stunning getaway!

    This home was simply amazing! For starters, it is located in a small, private, gated community with a community pool and tennis courts. The home was clean and stocked with anything and everything you could need for your vacation to include kitchen items, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, cleaning necessities, SUPER comfortable beds and linens, and amazing outdoor spaces for relaxing on the deck. The short boardwalk to the private white sandy beach is gorgeous. My children enjoying playing the board games available and we loved completing a puzzle together as a family. The owners have made this vacation home so inviting and comfortable. We look forward to staying again in the future! Thanks for an amazing stay!
