Stayed Jul 22, 2025The property itself was great. It wasn't openly shared that people were living downstairs and they had a dog that barked early every morning right at the stairs. The kitchen was bare (only 4 plates, no trash bags, and there was no toaster as stated). It was clean most places except the bathroom's cabinets, and the bathroom door in the master room kept falling off the hinges.

Stayed Jun 24, 2025We recently spent a week in Acworth for a baseball tournament, and overall, it was a good experience. While there were several interesting quirks, none of them were deal-breaking throughout our stay. The house was in a nice quiet area, was well maintained, and had plenty of space for two families of 3. Quirks: When we arrived, we noticed that access to the garage is not provided, but we couldn’t help but notice a bright purple grow light on in the space. Curious, we took a peek and discovered that something was growing there, while this wasn’t overly concerning, it was a bit odd not to be warned. Next, a small issue arose with the washer. When we arrived, it was already running. Shortly after, our friendly downstairs neighbor stopped by to let us know that his washer was out of order, so he was borrowing this one instead. My husband contacted the owners of the property as we were not made aware of this shared laundry situation, and the owners quickly took care of it. However, the downstairs tenant was made aware that we said something because he apologized the next day, which was a bit uncomfortable for us. I did pick up on a musty smell throughout the house. It wasn’t overpowering, but it did stick with me. We purchased a couple of plug-in air fresheners that resolved the issue. Each bedroom is equipped with a remote control for the light and fan. However, these remotes control every fan in the house simultaneously. For instance, adjusting the fan or light in one room inadvertently affected the settings in all other rooms, including the tenants downstairs. Fortunately, my husband managed to figure out a simple hack to work around this issue, so while it was a bit unusual at first, it didn’t end up being a major problem. The shared bathroom’s toilet nearly caught these hands. The lid automatically opens and closes on its own, which startled me on day one when I walked in without turning the lights on. To my surprise, this was the fanciest toilet I've ever seen in a rental. It features both front and back bidets with pulsating and oscillating options, a heated seat, a dryer, an automatic flush option, and a remote control. While we did not try all the features, it was fun to giggle about. In terms of cleanliness, the house was generally in good order, though it could benefit from a deeper clean in specific areas. Baseboards, the spaces underneath beds and dressers, as well as inside bathroom drawers and cabinets, all showed signs of needing a little extra attention, as we found several items left by other guests that should have been disposed of before our stay. Overall, while there were a few surprises, the house still provided a comfortable base for our weekend. If you’re looking for a place to stay for a tournament or short visit, these minor quirks are likely manageable, especially if you’re prepared for a bit of unconventional technology and unexpected details.

Stayed Jun 4, 2025The house was ok at best. It was dirty and we had to have the cleaners come back. There were food crumbs on the floor. There was splatter from something that was thrown in the trash can on the wall. The trash can lid was covered with something. The trash can was broken. The baseboard throughout the house was very dirty. The master bath shower had black mold. The inside of the washer was dirty that we didn’t wash clothes. There were very minimal utensils. Don’t plan to cook a good meal with what was available. There were no steak knives or cutting knives to cut anything. We had to use butter knives to cut things up. The was 1 spoon, no spatula. This house could be a nice one but needs attention. There is a tenant living in the basement also. We had no issues with them. Just a good point to know of.
