New Cozy Three Bedroom Home Close to the River Valley

Great modern property with everything you need! Clean, and nice touches like coffee pot/coffee. We will be back next time we’re in Edmonton!

The house was exactly as described in the listing. It was very clean and beds were very comfortable. The neighbourhood was quiet. It had close proximity to major streets for ease getting around the city. You need a car to get to the property and access any amenities. Owner responded to all queries. Definitely could use a bigger coffee pot.

Positives!! Spacious ✅ Very well stocked kitchen✅ Newer property✅ Amazing kitchen✅ Awesome pillows✅ Prompt communication✅ No endless “rules” and cleaning requests.✅ Lovely soft blankets✅ Games✅ Negatives -Had to request info re: how to get into residence (door code) ⚠️Inability to set house alarm Mummified pizza crust on foyer bench.? Some pots and pans were not clean. Tiny 2 cup coffee pot. Only one bath towel for each person (??) No xtra linens except a few hand towels &washcloths ⚠️Cheap polyester sheets & some were stained had holes & ALL had HAIR ? ⚠️Only master bed had a mattress cover ⚠️Not the safest area (esp in PM if you are female). ‼️‼️ Most important: We packed LIGHT due to advertised washer & dryer-(washer didn’t work)- wasted precious time that could have been spent w/ dying family member (reason for trip) trying to fix it, back and forth w/ host, going to laundromat, waiting for repairman- Lost equivalent of a day— Host’s response: I can’t reimburse you for your lost time but I can reimburse you for $ spent on laundry. Not true, host CHOSE to not offer compensation for our lost time and troubles. Recognizing how much this affected us and even small offer of a few dollars would have gone a long way (good customer service and customer retention) If washer not been an issue, the other “negatives” wouldn’t have caused us not to rebook, BUT due to the lack of empathy and poor customer service re: washer issue, I will not rebook when I return for the funeral.

Thanksgiving visit

This house was in top shape, very comfortable and clean. We felt as we were in a home away from home. Anything we wanted to do was easy to get to, Grocery, pharmacy and bakery all within walking distance. The neighbourhood was a tiny bit sketchy but we felt comfortable enough walking around in the daytime. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was nice and easy to find. AC was an added bonus with the heat wave. Nice to be able to find a place that was easy to get to and from and was exactly as listed

Excellent place to stay. I highly recommend to anyone staying in Edmonton who doesnt want to book a hotel. Communication and check in / out process was excellent as well.

House was very clean, comfortable beds, however, there was no coffee and coffee pot was very small , enough for 1-2 cups, though we never got a chance to use it. Shampoo was listed as being provided however there were many empty bottles in the showers and no shampoo. Appeared to be someone living in the basement which came as a surprise as that was not listed in the VRBO listing. The backyard was to have have a patio set, but the yard was unusable, many weeds and only a bistro table with 2 chairs.

Wow! What a fantastic home and stay. Great location and the home is a dream! Everything you could want and more. Highly recommend and I look forward to staying again when I am back in Edmonton.

Excellent stay. Clean, spacious and modern. Close to eveything and was 5 minutes from Expo center for Canadian Volleyball Nationals. Highly recommend.
