We kindly ask that you treat the home as your own, and guests are responsible for any damages or loss, which should be reported immediately.

▻ Late Check-Out – Let us know by the day before. To guarantee a late check-out, the following night would need to be booked. Please note, unapproved late check-outs may incur a $50/hour fee, and check-outs at 12 PM or later will be considered an extra night’s stay.

▻ Package Delivery – We cannot guarantee safe or timely receipt of packages sent to the home. For reliability, we recommend using a local pick-up location or requesting doorstep delivery if sending items here.

    John was a gracious and attentive host. We loved the house, and also loved that it was within walking distance to several fun venues, and a very easy drive to Market Street and to the start up market on Logan Street. The Wine bar next door had good music, drinks, and food, but not a peep was heard once we came into the house and shut the door. The house was very cozy and comfortable, and very spacious. We will definitely stay again.

    This property is apparently recently renovated; the interior is very impressive. The hardwood and tile flooring is beautiful and the modern bathroom and kitchen fixtures add a special touch to this home. Unfortunately we were unable to use the refrigerator because of an apparent electrical problem. The front lawn has not been mowed in a while. There is an inconvenience with the rear parking because there is no access to the property from the rear parking area.

    I had a great stay at this property! The space was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, perfect for a weekend in Louisville. John was a responsive and thoughtful host who went out of his way to resolve a minor issue quickly and professionally. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others!

    Although we only stayed one night in Louisville before kicking off our KY Bourbon Trail Weekend, this house really set the mood for a great time! Conveniently located just south of downtown Louisville in the Shelby St area in a very cool neighborhood it provided us with easy access to all of the downtown distilleries that we visited.The house easily accommodated the 4 couples (8 people) in our group with 4 unique bedrooms, 2 full baths and a powder room. The kitchen was a little tight, but well stocked with a full refrigerator, stove and other appliances you need to cook your own meals. The large table was perfect for playing games into the evening after going out for dinner and exploring the neighborhood.Street parking can be hit or miss, but parking in the back alley easily accommodated parking for two of our vehicles (could maybe park three), but was a little muddy after the record rain in the area the week before.Communication with our host John was great and ongoing leading up to our visit all the way through checkout. A great place to stay and we would definitely enjoy renting again in future (and hopefully longer) visits to Louisville!

    The house was in great condition and with 3 couples we each had a bedroom and bathroom plus and extra room with bunk beds. Toasty’s is 30 steps away and the food is excellent. Owner was on top of everything and very responsive with any question I had. Highly recommend the house and location!

    As a collective, our 6 adults felt that safety and security was not prioritized when the home was being renovated. Parking in the back is not well lit, door locks were not secured properly. Outsiders can see thru the windows at night. Overall, just okay.

    We were in town for dinner, and to visit the breweries and distilleries, and the house was perfectly located. House was clean and plenty of room for the group. I will rent again if we return.

    The property was extremely nice, but the home itself was experiencing plumbing issues, the pipes had frozen and backed up plumbing throughout the house which caused the most awful smell throughout the house, the feces came up in the shower stalls, the cleaning crew came to clean it up later on, but then the plumbers came and used a snake to unclog everything and made a even bigger mess, we had to leave the house because the smell was so unpleasant. Upon us returning to the home, the cleaning crew blew a Circuit breaker, that was located in the basement where all the backed up stool was, and my husband had to go down in this tiny crawl space and kick the power back on, we did get a discount for staying a second day, but I don’t wish this bad luck on anyone
