The house offered beautiful views (including a young bear!), plenty of room for 10 people, and was fully stocked with everything we needed. The location was fantastic for downtown and some surrounding wineries/breweries. Host communication was also excellent. We had such a great time and would love to stay again!!

Great girls weekend getaway! The house easily slept 12 people with lots of places to hang out inside of the house. Could use a few more chairs around the dining table to seat large groups, but that's it.

Property was as described in the listing. We had a lovely stay and was great location for our travels to Asheville and touring the Biltmore Estate.

This property is well managed and clean! The view from the front rooms and hot tub are spectacular (huge deck to enjoy sunrise/sunset)! All rooms are a good size. Showers have great pressure. If you grill, it's gas, super easy and convenient as there's a door directly to the kitchen - perfect location. Beds are comfy, quality sheet sets and pillows. Solid construction ( no creaky steps or floors meant late sleepers weren't bothered by the early risers). This host put several very thoughtful touches, like having toilet paper when you arrive, and high quality hand soaps and dish washer detergent! These seem like little things but so many times we've paid for a luxury place, only to have to go out and get a bunch of basic supplies (like a dish sponge or hand soap) that we'll only get a tiny bit of use out of. Another example, the Gas grill is piped in (so you don't have to get a propane tank).Neighborhood is upscale and neighbors are quite but friendly if you are out walking dogs or strolling. The house is secluded and private. Wonderful huge family room for movie night or games. 2nd TV in living room that can be seen from the kitchen so everyone cooking can enjoy the TV without missing anything.Plenty of silverware, plates, cups, toaster, coffee maker, gas stove. Decent supply of pots and pans in good shape. Everything was very clean and roomy for our two grand parents (82yo) three young adults and two middle agers. Would recommend!

We had three families and having 6 rooms was perfect ! We all appreciated the top level choices the owners made- like good soaps, filtered water, toilet paper, not locking up supplies (yes we had one property allow us x garbage bags for a 3 day stay and we had to call for more). We loved the large tv room with enough seating for everyone, the art tv in the smaller living room and having manuals for the appliances! The towels were fluffy, the water pressure good and there were plenty of towels for the spa. The kitchen was roomy and worked well for making breakfast and dinners for the whole crew.The location is convenient to many things, while at the same time allowing you to feel secluded in the woods. We even saw big cat prints on the deck. A 10 out of 10!
