New Beachfront 3 Bed 2 1/2 Bath in downtown Bay St Louis in Prime Location

This lovely property will be our home away from home when visiting the gulf coast. The property is brand new, very clean and the owner was very responsive and friendly. We appreciated the extra bath towels and floor plan it offered our family. This home had everything we needed to make this such a pleasant place to stay. We plan to book again in the near future for this year and looking forward to our next visit! Thank you again to the Garcia's! See you soon.

We recently stayed at this property for the second time (our first visit was about five years ago), and overall we had a good experience. The home is beautifully decorated and looks just like the photos. The kitchen was well stocked, and the large island and dining table worked perfectly for our big family to gather and share meals together.One area that could use some attention is overall comfort. The living room couches were quite firm and somewhat lumpy, which made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy family movie time. Similarly, the beds were a bit less comfortable than we had hoped for.We also noticed there weren’t extra blankets available beyond the thin bedding on the beds. For families with children who enjoy cozying up together in the evenings, having a few additional throw blankets in the living area would be a wonderful addition and would really elevate the comfort factor.As this is a duplex, guests should be aware that neighboring renters can impact the experience. During our stay, there was an issue next door that required police involvement, which was unfortunate and outside of the host’s control, but it did affect the overall atmosphere.Overall, this property is visually appealing, spacious, and well suited for large families, especially when it comes to dining and kitchen space. With a few small upgrades focused on comfort, it could easily be an even better experience.

An absolute 10 out of 10 We loved everything about this property! It’s so charming, clean, and has the best view of the gulf! The location is prime to the beach, downtown restraunts and stores. The owners were great to work with and very accommodating. We can’t wait to revisit and would stay in this exact listing!

We have stayed in BSL many times. This was our first time getting this close to the beach and it was great!! The house is spacious and has everything you need. ConsThe upstairs bathroom lighting is quite dim.The upstairs bedroom could use nightstands and additional power outlets.The outdoor seating isn’t very comfortable.

Great location, clean and decorated nice. Only complaint were beds were a little hard and no soap in bathrooms - we brought our own but would habe been nice

We really enjoyed our stay. The weather wasn't great but the VRBO was just fine. Clean, well designed with a very nice front porch and a good view.Beach is right across the street. We talked to the represented twice and they were helpful and pleasant. A little heads up though... TV is streaming only. Not a huge problem but not expected especially for us old f*rts who don't know how to 'cast' anything but a fishing rod. Oh yeah, BRING YOUR OWN SHOWER SOAP and TISSUE. Didn't expect that. If we return we'll diffidently consider this place.

This unit is very clean and could not be located in a better location. The beach is just 20 steps straight out the front door. 1/4 of a mile down the beach road to the left is a very quaint and nice and clean, safe, small town. We truly enjoyed it. Would recommend it to anyone.

Our stay at Mermaid’s Tales was to celebrate my wife’s birthday. This property was perfect! It was sparkling clean, well appointed, and was even better in person, the open living/kitchen/dining area was much more spacious than it appeared in pictures…We saw some amazing sunrises from the living room and porch.This owner’s properties never disappoint! We can’t wait to book again. Also, very convenient to restaurants and shops.

This house is in an ideal location, just steps from the fun and action along Beach. The accommodations are perfect and spacious.

This was our second year staying at the Mermaid. We love everything about it. Garret, the host, responds very quickly. Amber is also great to work with. Would definitely recommend this place.

Every year we have a “sisters week” and go to different locations, this was very nice and being off season, very quiet and relaxing. The location was great, just an hour from NOLA and Biloxi. The house was beautiful and just as described. There were two items to be cautious of - the stones on the driveway can be challenging for those with walking/balance issues and also the showers, they are beautifully tiled which makes them slippery and there are no grab bars to hold onto which could be a safety issue. Evenings on the patio watching the water, priceless.
