★History★
Aurora Haven was custom build as the personal residence of the family who built and operated Elwha River Resort. The house was built on the very top of the land track and the trees in front were cleared out to render an unobstructed view. In this area of abundance forestry, it is unique or very rare to have a cleared out large track of land with sweeping saltwater view. Enchanted Havens recognized this one-of-a-kind property when purchasing it. Now we are sharing it as one of the best ways to experience the beautiful Olympic Peninsula.

★Pets★
We do allow pets during your stay with us. There is a $100 flat pet fee for our cleaner to apply additional procedure after pets stay. You are welcome to bring more than one pet. Please notify us at least 1 day before arrival and pay the pet fee prior to getting the lockbox code.

The house and amenities are not as advertised. This is not a luxury or private property. Filthy, tv doesnt work, outlets dont work, tap water is yellow and the owner told us to boil it before use. Fireplace sermed unsafe to use so we couldnt use. Filthy kitchen. Host doesnt answer emergency contact, instead a different person calls back from a different number. People showed up during our stay to access. Told us host knows about ongoing issues but doesnt fix them. Last day we lost hot water. No remedy, they didnt even reply. Fraudulent listing.

The host was very responsive and pleasant to work with. The setting was awesome . . . secluded, easy to get to, plenty of acreage to wander, and the VIEW! The house is ideal for family gatherings, with a high chair and crib, indoor and outdoor activities for the kids, and very comfortable for everyone. The openness of the kitchen, dining, and living rooms worked very well for inclusiveness. The house was clean, very well kept up, and had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time.

The house and property were beautiful. The kitchenware was disappointing. The cookware looked so bad we bought a new frying pan. I was glad I brought parchment paper with me because the baking sheets were terrible. There was no garlic press or a decent cheese grater. We paid the extra 100 for pets, and were horrified when our pup found a dead rat and a dead bird in the yard, obviously poisoned by the poison traps in the yard. It would have been the responsible thing to do to let us know about the poison traps before we got there. Our pup could have been poisoned. Overall it is a beautiful place to stay. The beds were comfortable. Location fabulous

This house is great! Lots of room for the family, game room in the garage and an amazing view of the Strait and Vancouver Island. Stayed here before and planning to stay here again in the future.

We had a great stay with our family of 5 (kids ages 4-9). The property was very clean. All communication regarding the property was seamless and easy. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and we easily found everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and view was fantastic. The kid zipline (great for younger kids) and bumper car were huge hits!

We had a lovely stay at Aurora Haven in early August 2024. The home was comfortable, well furnished, and had a beautiful view of the Salish Sea, especially in the early mornings. As a family, we appreciated that it was one story but still spacious. The host was also communicative and responsive. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a lovely time here, the interior space was lovely for a large family gathering, the view was outstanding. It is on 10 acres so it is very private, a wonderful thing. There was plenty of kitchen gear, a great large table to all sit around. The only improvement would be the game room which is a garage space. I would stay there again ! Thank you Aurora Haven ,
