Great location facing Haystack Rocks, walkable around Cannon Beach. Easy check-in with pin code—plenty of firewood. The main bedroom is colder. No shampoo, conditioner, or body wash provided—well-equipped kitchen. The balcony lacks a table/chairs. Washer/dryer great; bring drying sheet. The house shows its age with peeling paint and spots, but it's good for a short stay.

That living room oozes with nostalgia and coziness. Who needs a TV with a window view like the one at this house? We loved having a wood-burning fireplace. I couldn't believe Haystack Rock was a backyard feature.

so I liked this property but weirdly there were no beach towels - I didn't feel ok using the bath towels for our sandy feet but there will be sandy feet at the beach .. I guess we should have packed our own?

This historic cottage predates that wonderful style but includes many of its best elements. It has cozy warmth, a relaxing peaceful location, great woodwork and is quiet and private. The deck is a great place to watch the sunset! You feel like you're on the beach and Haystack is always in view. The furnishings are comfortable and the views out all the perfectly placed windows are spectacular. You feel like you traveled back to an earlier time of cottage life in Cannon Beach. Artistic touches in the decor include grasscloth wallpaper, lovely prints by Paul A. Lanquist and a particularly nice print of a girl by the seashore above the king bed. Very charming. We will return to this premiere cottage and recommend it highly!

This house was wonderful for five friends! Spacious, lots of comfortable seating, a fully stocked kitchen, and gorgeous views. We only wished there would have been some cozy throws to snuggle under. We are already hoping to book it again next year!

Communication by phone and VRBO message with the management company was very good, and the keypad at the door worked well. The house layout was fine for two couples, but the access to the second and third bedrooms was a little awkward. We had a great stay, and even got to see the ocean in stormy weather!

If you are looking for stunning ocean views and great location, this is a gem of a rental. Honestly could have watched the waves for days from the living room windows and you couldn’t get a better view of haystack rock. We really liked that there were no houses in front of us. Beach access was very close - just two houses down.If you are looking for top of the line amenities, honestly, the cottage is dated and some items could use a refresh (e.g. hair dryers). Beds and pillows were comfortable on the up side of things and the kitchen was decently stocked.There is one designated parking spot for the cottage and a number of steps down to the front door (pictures / description are accurate).Overall, we enjoyed the stay as the ocean view was what we valued most!

You can walk into town so easily without having to park and having the beach at your doorstep was awesome. The outdoor deck was our favorite place to hang out and we saw elk and bunnies hanging out in the yard! The house was clean and had everything we needed. Small and cozy with nothing too fancy but very clean. Perfect for two people or with family. Cottage is at the end of the street, so there is some privacy and beach access is only two doors down -very close. The views are unbelievable and the pictures are accurate. The beach is unlike any I’ve ever visited. Very walkable with beauty everywhere. We walked the beach to town for morning coffee and fresh air. Loved watching the kids playing and dogs living their best life on the beach. A truly unique place. The bedrooms are the size you would expect for a small cottage with comfy beds. Deck has a grill and plenty of seating. Parking is easy with about 15 steps down to the cottage. Highly recommend for romantic couple getaway and small families.

We loved our stay at this quaint home. We splurged to have the views and it was absolutely worth it! We had a private path to the beach and our teenagers could run down when they wanted. We could still enjoy the views at the end of the day from the porch and living room windows. We didn't have to go somewhere else and haul all the stuff to enjoy beach time. It was so worth it!

Sensational View and Easy Beach Access. The house itself is a bit small and dated (some would say classic) but well equipped and comfortable.

It's hard to beat this location! Enjoyed people/bird/dog watching, spotting seals swimming in the mornings, and sunsets from the porch and family room. One evening, elk even came up from the beach into the yard and into the neighbor's yard - amazing to watch from the family room and kitchen. The house shows some signs of its age, but is comfortable. It smelled like firewood/smoke initially, but opening a few windows helped. Parking was unclear - and we didn't want to tick off any of the neighbors since Cannon Beach is so compact - but once confirmed we were in the right spot, all good. We'd love to come back!

The property was ideal for us because the living area is all on one floor, so no-one felt cut off. There is a staircase from the street to the front door; it's safe and sturdy. Access to the beach is by metal stairs two houses away, and are easy to navigate. The living room is large and well-furnished, and there is a cupboard full of games and also a bookcase. The views from the back of the house are unbeatable.

We stay up and down the North Oregon coast, looking for privacy and great views. This house in Cannon Beach overlooks Haystack rock with quick access to the beach the public stairs, half block up the way. The house was wonderfully appointed with a well stock, kitchen, nicely maintained bathrooms with abundant new towels, readily available Wi-Fi and cable television if you’re interested. Sitting in the center of Cannon Beach everything was readily accessible by walking. We enjoyed our stay and would come back again.
