The home was very comfortable and clean. It was in walking distance to everything we needed. It was very family friendly area. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to go to Cumberland Island to stay here. Landlord was very quickly to respond to my messages. Grandchildren enjoyed having a playground across the street.

We loved this little house and its surroundings. When does an on-line rental turn out to be better than it looks in the pics? Well, that's true here. The house is bigger than it appears, has comfortable beds/furniture, and a very good-sized screened in back porch. Unfortunately, bc of the gov't shutdown, the Cumberland Island ferry wasn't running but we had a really nice time anyway. Pretty little town within very easy walking distance and lots of cool old houses. Very nice public spaces too! I definitely recommend.

Nice area. Cute older house. I would recommend bringing your own blankets if you get cold easily. Shower could use updating but overall okay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was exactly as advertised. It is charming and cozy. The king bed was especially comfortable! It is very close to the ferry going to Cumberland Island and everything else in town. The town itself is quiet and feels very safe. We were amazed at all the history of St Mary’s! We rode our bikes all around the town. David was responsive and accommodating. We will definitely stay again if in the area and we highly recommend The Sweetest Spot.

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and relaxing, and everything we needed was within walking distance. We checked in then walked around St Mary's. People were friendly and a couple of people, working in their yards stopped to talk with us. We walked through the historic cemetery and then through the History Walk. It was very interesting and informative. We enjoyed the evening sitting on the back, screened porch. The next morning we walked to the ferry for our day at Cumberland Island. The house is old, but very clean and was exactly as listed. I would stay there again. My only issue was with the lock box. The numbers were difficult to turn and was left unlocked. I was unable to turn the numbers to lock it when we left. Perhaps it needs some oil or, should be replaced.

Our family loved everything about this home. Cozy, yet roomy enuf for privacy. Quiet neighborhood and convenient to great restaurants, museums, playgrounds, fishing, Cumberland Island Ferry, charming waterfront park with adult swings overlooking the peaceful water (our favorite zen activity), great biking & walking areas.. Hostess was promptly effective & pleasantly helpful to our question about the lockbox. It was a long drive from the northeast Georgis mountains but definitely worth every mile! We so very much hope to make a return visit! Thak you!

Property is just as pictured, clean, comfortable and was perfect size for the two of us with furry baby but a family of four could easily love this cottage. Location couldn’t be better in St Mary’s - everything is within walking distance. Nice park near by on riverfront. Beds are comfy, perfect fenced in backyard for fur friends, nice screened in porch for outside sitting without the bugs getting you. It is soooo quiet even though you are right in town. We ate at Locals, Seagals, Riverfront Cafe - all were good and would recommend checking any of them out but Locals was our favorite…maybe because we stumbled on to an all you can eat shrimp special night - the grilled shrimp was amazing!! And Southern River Walk had a great breakfast. Take the ferry and go to Cumberland Island - wild horses were such fun to see and loved walking all the trails. Thanks Tiffany for sharing your home! We will be back!

We always look for places near water so our boys can fish and a place that is pet friendly. This place knocked it out the park. Not only was there great fishing piers right across the road but the creek near the house was full of fish and crabs. The fenced in backyard was great and some of the stores and restaurants are even pet friendly. They had two bikes for us to use which was awesome for a morning bike ride. Really you can walk to everything. We also brought a boat and used that to check out Cumberland island. And Tiffany made our stay amazing. She was so quick to reply to any questions. We will definitely be back.
