You will have to bring your own beach items like towels, swim noodles, cooler, etc. Also you will have to rent your own bikes. The house is very close to the pool which was a plus.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home needs a renovation, with first priority being the bathrooms. It's also in need of general maintenance on the exterior.A path from the driveway to the front porch steps needs to be installed. It's clear that the owners have done as little as possible to present the home as updated. The mattress in the primary bedroom is obviously meant to never have to be replaced as it sleeps like a concrete slab. The primary bath shower's 1990's design is claustrophobic and uncomfortable. At a minimum, new shower heads should be put on both bath showers.The cookware in the kitchen was scratched up and unsafe to cook with. There are stains on the carpet in the bedroom (replace with hardwoods) The neighborhood is very quiet and the location is great. The house has a good floor plan and is spacious for a 3/2. This was my 2nd time to rent through Benchmark, and I doubt I will do so again, given the low standards to which they hold their properties to. Great pictures and descriptions like fully equipped kitchen do a good job of misrepresenting the property. Another tipoff on this property should have been just 3 reviews listed - all 5 star of course. I know this honest review won't be posted on their website. Disappointing rental.

This house is so close to the community Pool that you don’t need a house with a Pool at all. Also 7-10 minute walk to the beach. Our 3 young kids loved the bunk beds, and we loved the setup. Will stay here again!

We had a lovely stay in Grateful by the Sea. Can't beat the location, and the home was wonderful.

Reviewer Comments: Home is nice, location is great to Seaside and close to the beach, owner watches the doorbell camera and has another camera on the side of the home as well as changes the inside temp to 76 very often, at least multiple times a day making the home extremely warm, it’s hard to keep it comfortable due to this hiccup... they have a cheap Walmart dresser in the 2nd king that 2 drawers are broken, no clothing storage option or closet) besides a few coat hooks in bunk room, closet is locked with double sided deadbolt in other two bedrooms and several locked cabinets limiting storage options to nothing of half cabinet. Home itself is nice but for the price and other options we have stayed several times with benchmark this is the first time we didn’t rebook a stay while in a home. If you want to have a nice location and live out of a suitcase this would work but I enjoy a house for the comfort I’m use to at a home and didn’t get that due to the thermostat, camera viewing and pantry and cabinets, closets having locks forcing you to live out of a suitcase worse than a hotel because they at least offer drawers for clothing storage and a closet...

Perfect location and perfect cozy house ….neighborhood is quiet

We enjoyed our stay - the place was a great location to the beach and Seaside. Only reco’s for the management group is to take off the reference of the availability of the bikes and upgrade the Wi-Fi. We had numerous outings and the signal was quite weak. If the only option for the TVs is streaming, need to upgrade the Wi-Fi. Overall, still a great place to stay!
