So beautiful, wonderful quiet area. Such a great visit!
Very quiet and a little off the beaten path but still not far from conveniences. Being reasonably close to the Cumberland River and Wolf Creek was a bonus.
Great location close to Helms Landing. Everything was as advertised....
This home felt so much like home very peaceful and roomy will definitely be back A perfect spot for myself and husband to get away from hustle of busy life at home for a week.
great place to stay, super close to Helms landing I have already rebooked
Needed a larger place to stay near the lake and this certainly fit the bill! It is out a ways, but convenient enough to our boat storage facility. Inside the house was clean and the beds comfortable. Very reasonably priced. We will be happy to stay here again! Thanks!
Nice getaway
Perfect for a family!
Perfect location to fish below the dam Plenty of room for our purposes. Could use chairs for the patio, luckily we didn’t see any in the pictures and brought our own.
House is perfect for fishing on the Cumberland river as it is 2 miles to Helms Landing boat ramp. Very quiet rural area.
The house seems structurally sound, but could be soo much better. On the plus side, the house had 2 bathrooms, a new roof and good size rooms. But... We found mouse droppings on center of 2 beds upstairs. My son slept on the couch rather than in that room even though I washed everything immediately. (I found non-set mouse traps in a closet downstairs, so they obviously know mice are an issue.) Semi clean. There were spiderwebs covering all the light fixtures. Needs patio furniture replaced (the material in seats were rotted out). One picnic table was good and we used it nightly. The other was falling apart and had big bees/wasps living in it. We will choose a different place to stay from here on out. Enjoyed our visit to the area. Kayaked the Cumberland River. We left a day early. We felt bad about leaving trash in big trash bags at the road in an area with so much wildlife, but that's what the instructions said to do. We enjoyed the cows next door. They only visited 1 morning, but there were cute babies.
We stayed here for a 4 day weekend. Property was clean and close to the boat ramps we use for fishing the river. Will definitely stay here again.
Nice clean house with a large yard surrounded by farm land. Loved hearing the frogs at night. Our only complaints are minor, dishes are unmatched odds and ends. It would be nice to have a nightstand with a lamp for at least a couple of beds in each upstairs room. I guess if you travel with a nightlight it would be okay. Overall we had a great time and will stay again.
This was a great place to stay and still have convenience of being close to the launch ramps.
The house was great for our family to get together and to do some fishing
Stayed here for a weekend fishin trip on Cumberland river. Ramp close to the house, big flat area to park you truck and boat trailers. Only a handful of miles ride up the river to the dam.
We loved the quiet setting.
We stayed here for 3 nights will we fished the Cumberland river. It was perfect with lots of space and beds. We loved the peaceful environment. We would stay here again.
Had a fantastic stay in a place where you can get away from it all. Close to the river and very quiet. Theresa is a great communicator and responds quickly to messages. Property is exactly as pictured.
Wonderful home and property. The home was beautiful and so nicely set up. The outside was huge and very well maintained. The kids loved playing outside. Overall we loved it here.
Great location with boat ramp just a minute away. Clean, comfortable and quiet! A+
We had a great time we got to see alot of things and got to go on a pontoon and on a Cano trip was a blast
Great place, great value!
We went for a family trip with 4 generations. Very clean and spacious with lots of room. The kids loved the space to play. The adults loved the space to move and all the amenities. Very close to a great fishing spot. No noise or light pollution. We wanted to stay. The kids said they wanted it to be their forever home. Would definitely book this house again.
All went well… Wanted to stay as close as possible to Lake Cumberland and do some water skiing. Nice house and a beautiful setting
Property was wonderful. Nice size clean house for a party of 8. Plenty of room for 3 children under 10 to run and play or sprawl out on the floor to watch TV, play electronic games, and do crafts. Decently furnished...loved ice maker. Owners very attentive.
Great for our family get together
