Make yourself at home in this spacious oceanfront home. Located equal distance between Gold Beach and Brookings. Enjoy private beach access to a charming beach cove perfect for the family. This house was one of our original guest cottages, built in the 1930s, and has been remodeled over the years, most recently in 2010. The door and ceiling heights in the original areas are not standard and may be a little low for those well above 6 feet.

The Nautilus has three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The downstairs romantic master suite offers a large picture window with amazing ocean and beach views, an updated gas fireplace in the sunken sitting room, a king bed with luxurious linens, and a private bathroom. Upstairs, you will find two spacious dormer-style rooms separated by a full-size bathroom. Each bedroom has a king-size bed with one daybed built into the window, and the other room has 2 additional twin daybeds: a wood sleigh bed and a separate trundle underneath. Base Occupancy is 6 guests, and the house can accommodate up to 10 guests. Just so you know, we have a guest fee of $10 + tax per night per guest over the base occupancy. We are pet-friendly, so furry members are welcome for a non-refundable per dog fee.

Spend quality time together indoors in the large living room, outdoors on the deck or soak in the heat and bubbles in the spa underneath the pines. The home also features a nicely equipped kitchen, laundry equipment, plenty of comfortable seating in the living/dining room and on the deck.

Wildlife Notice:
This remote area is home to elk, deer, turkeys, bats, rodents, bears, and other wildlife. They usually avoid people, but please use caution and keep doors and windows closed.

Incredible place. Added to our return list annually. Allowed us to come in just a touch early to get ready for our wedding and even left us champagne and wine with treats! Couldn’t ask for a better place. I’d rather this more than 5 stars if I could.

Love this place! It’s our second time to the Nautilus house and 3rd time to a Crook Point property. The views are incredible! We had wind, rain, sun,and big waves and all are perfect to watch from the house! House is very clean and very well stocked. Love that the hot tub has moved and is easier to access and more private now. Huge table on porch is new and gorgeous! We love to take everything we need and just stay there the whole time! But if you need to venture out, towns are close. And if you must work (like I had to) internet is easy and the view from every room is great!

There are no words to describe how incredible the views from this home are! The house is cozy and clean. We only stayed three nights but didn’t want to leave. So close to the amazing natural bridges and secret beach. Which we loved! The hot tub was perfect to soak in on the cool evenings. By far the best location of any home we’ve ever stayed in. Thank you!!

Had a wonderful and positive experience at Nautilus. We happened to be there during a crazy winter storm and arrived with the power out. The staff was friendly and very responsive in the morning, and thankfully the power was back on and we were able to enjoy the remainder of the weekend as scheduled!
