Stayed Dec 26, 2024We recently stayed four nights in this home with our family of five (Wife, Husband, and Three Adult Children). Booking was easy as expected. We arrived after a 10 hour drive to find that the lockbox code was incorrect. Owner did respond quickly with updated code thankfully. The home is in a not so great neighborhood but it is newer and very clean. We were surprised to find that it is actually “owner occupied” so there was food on the counter and in the refrigerator and all cabinets as an FYI. They advertise that you have access to the hot tub in the backyard but be aware that there is a camera back there and you do not have access to the washer and dryer. This is not ideal for wet bathing suits and we were disappointed about this aspect as we were not going to spend time on vacation in a laundry mat. This is the most important aspect that we overlooked in the booking details. You cannot have ANY outside guests visit you in this home including immediate family members not listed on the reservation. It was easy to miss in the booking details as you have to hit “show more” to reveal this rule. We learned the hard way via an email and text message our first night in the home “hosting” family members for pizza. The checkout instructions were not included in the booking but rather were sent at 10:50PM our last night while we were asleep. The home had a lot of fragile items so avoid it at the holidays if you have little ones.
