Excellent location, walking distance to beach, lighthouse, shops and various eateries. The house was clean and tidy, and as described. The only slight issue was that all the outside furniture could have done with a clean, but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay.
Would be a great place in summer. We had trouble with the heating. Plenty of wood, but no kindling to actually start a fire, no wood splitter to cut up kindling to start the fire. Small electric heater only managed to heat house to 7°c. Bedding and blankets would be great in summer, but not quite up to the clear cold nights. Nice spot we would definitely stay again in warmer weather.
Had a relaxing weekend in Aireys inlet. The house was perfect for a simple getaway - backyard was perfect for the puppy to roam about. Only a short distance to the coastal walk and town.
was one of my favourite place to visit , Good location , close to beach , amazing jangle thank you so much hope to see you soon
Comfortable home, location handy to shops and beach, great open fire.
The house was very cosy and comfortable during our 2 night stay. Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, native birds on the decking and walks along the cliff and local beaches. Being within walking distance to both the shop and local pub was an added bonus. The various options of heating (wood fire, electric and split system) allowed the house to remain at a nice temperature. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep and the kids loved playing on the rear pavers.
We were thoroughly disappointed with the service that we got from the real estate agency (Surf Coast Real Estate) that looks after this property for the owners. Firstly, we were given the wrong keys to the property and had to drive back to Anglesea to retrieve the correct keys. This was the first bad impression we got from our stay. Then when we finally got into the property we were not impressed with the level of cleanliness. We alerted the real estate agency of our dissatisfaction and the only response we got was We're sorry your stay wasn't up to your standards. No apology for the mistake of being given the wrong keys or suggestion they would alert the owners of the condition of the property. We will ensure next time we want to stay at a property that we will not use Surf Coast Real Estate. The property was basic and was located in a good spot. The fire place was the best feature.
