I loved the uneven floors and antiques! The shades were nice as they kept out the morning sun perfectly. Taking the tour of the house was informative and you got to see what is on the other side of the door!
My husband, myself, and our one year old son were able to stay here for a weekend getaway. It was absolutely perfect, beautiful rooms, historical. It was clean upon arrival and had everything we needed. I LOVE that the funds from renting out this space goes toward the preservation of the overall house. A great idea! We would absolutely stay here again!
great time from a convienient location
Enjoyed our stay and especially the private tour by Tori. She was super knowledgeable about the house and families that lived in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed her tour through the museum part of the house. One negative on the house- the 3rd bedroom is attached to 2nd bedroom and the bathroom and there is no fan in the bathroom - an exhaust fan would improve this greatly.
Great location. Comfortable sleeping arrangements and good eating/living spaces. It was fun having breakfast and coffee outside in the garden, but the place could use a little more outdoor furniture.
Perfect location for our Maine Coastal tour in the apartment connected to this historic home. Enjoyed the tours of this home and the Tucker Castle.
We had a great stay. Good location near restaurants and historic sites
A beautiful place to stay! We really enjoyed the tour of the museum and learning the history of the town and the families that occupied the house and the area through the years. Wiscasset is (and the surrounding area) is the perfect place to spend a vacation - surrounded by natural beauty, abundant history, and friendly people.
Wonderful opportunity to live in a 200 year old plus home. Explore the town’s history right outside your door.
