Fredericksburg, Texas
The home was built in 1909 by the Keidel family, who built the first hospital in Fredericksburg. Our mother bought this home in 2000 and the home has been restored to original condition as one of the most historic homes in Fredericksburg. The architecture is German, Victorian, Hill Country and all original aspects of the past remain, however, the modern comforts are present to enable guests to be comfortable in 2000 sq. ft. of exclusive space, owner's apartment excluded. Our location is 2 minutes from mainstreet downtown where wine tasting, restaurants, shopping, and night life entertainment are. abundant. Before leaving, our front and back wrap around porches are available for relaxing. The front yard is home to one of the largest oak trees in Fredericksburg to enhance a peaceful experience that is typical of the Hill Country. We are located on 1/2 acre fenced tree and hill country scenery. The rental includes state and local taxes and fees.

Great place! Convenient location. Host was very friendly and helpful!
We had a great time. We love Fredericksburg. Loved the house, shopping and live music.
This is a very nice little house that is well situated in Fredericksburg
We loved the home, very nicely decorated and cozy. Older Victorian so a bit out of level, but part of the charm! Owner was absolutely wonderful to work with. We loved having a driveway to park in off the road. Highly recommend.
Came up with another couple to spend the weekend in Fredericksburg shopping, eating and drinking at the wineries. Had a great time! The house is close to the strip but still had to drive. The house was cute and quaint.
This property was exactly as described. The house is a short drive to Main St. & several other popular local locations. The house was clean, neat & well decorated.
Nice house
We loved the house - it was clean, in a great location and had a ton of charm. The only thing we didn’t love was that the house had an attached upstairs room (separated by a latched door) that someone appeared to be staying in that we weren’t aware of. Otherwise, our experience was awesome!
Dennis and his property were equally wonderful. I enjoyed my stay and everything was as listed. My only issue with the listing was that the driveway did not accommodate for large vehicles very well. Everything else was great!
Totally enjoyed this beautiful quaint historic home. Lot's of character and style. Spending the morning drinking coffee with friends on the lovely porch rocking chairs was a plus. The home is private and quiet. The added bonus of a short term rental was a big selling point. We attended the snow crab festival and then went to Crossroads saloon for dinner and drinks and dancing. Great weekend topped off by having a relaxing and cute home to enjoy too. Thank you Dennis !
