Well maintained. Very quiet. No TV. Doubt if there is any air conditioning.

Lovely, cozy cottage with lots of light, far away from crowds but near enough to go anywhere. One star taken off because the bedroom only had a day curtain and no dark night curtain—even if the location is in the woods, I can't understand why. Bedrooms are private places.

We loved how quiet and secluded it was. Such a beautiful setting. Would have liked to have known that there was no central air or heat, and that there wasn’t a stove. Maybe adding a toaster and a few more plates, glasses and silverware would have helped too. Overall a wonderful stay though!

Property was in the woods so nice and quiet but easy to get to places on the island. Comfortable space. Just wish there were regular curtains to block out sun in bedroom.

Everything was great except there was no hot water. I’m sure that is fixed now.

Have been coming to MV for 55 years and am very familiar with most areas of the Island, but never in W. Tisbury. A beautiful setting, very peaceful and quiet. We own property on the Island and may very well settle here for the next phase of our lives. Thanks for having me...JC

This place is perfect, My girlfriend and I stayed there for Memorial Day weekend. It’s a quiet little cottage nestled in the wood we loved the privacy and getting away from the hustle and bustle of Oak bluffs at night. I’ve read some other reviews saying that the electricity doesn’t work but it worked for us the whole time. I personally plan on staying there again

I never write or post negative reviews, in fact, this may be my first one because of how disappointed I was. An issue we ran into pretty much immediately after arriving was the loss of power. My significant other and I went food shopping before we arrived at the property and spent a lot of money on perishable food (meats, fruit, cheese, milk, cream, etc.) and the fridge completely shut off. All of our food went bad and we had to throw it all away. It was quite literally like throwing hundreds of dollars away in the trash. Not only did the fridge shut off, but all the outlets in the living room were blown. Therefore, there was no Wifi even though the listing claimed there was. By the time Vacasa had reached out to me to have someone come by and try to fix it (a day after the fact) I had already fixed the power on my own by troubleshooting random things around the house. This was not how we intended to spend our first day on the island. Also, there is no AC or any air circulation. The listing did not say there was AC but the heat was unbearable and there was only one fan in the house that did not make any difference. Laurie, the Vineyard Haven local Vacasa manager was the only person who truly cared and listened to me. She went out of her way to buy two additional fans and delivered them to the property. Despite her kind efforts, the fans did not help with the heat. The temperature inside stayed at 86 degrees Fahrenheit our entire stay. Next, there was a lot of insects (s

Really cute place! We enjoyed it a ton, but do wish the listing was more clear about expectations. It was clean and clearly well cared for, but it was the kind of cabin that's a little more rustic than your average home—no air conditioning, no stove, not especially bug-proof (not infested by any means, just older sealant). That being said it was really lovely! And probably feels more upscale when it's not super hot and humid. The huge bathtub was a big plus! We had an issue upon arrival with some outlets not working, including the outlets for the fridge and router. Vacasa support was responsive and tried to send someone to fix it ASAP, but ASAP ended up being 2PM the next day. We managed to repair it ourselves by the time they arrived. For anyone who has this issue in the future, we fixed it by hitting the reset button on the outlet behind the fridge (unplug the fridge first).

Quiet setting. A couple of issues. First, there are no blinds in the bedroom, covering the sliding door. Next, 1/2 the power went out with no resolution almost 15 hours later, despite being told someone would call or text right away. The wifi and refrigerator were both included in the outage. We had to dispose of several food items as a result.

The cottage is absolutely charming and is in a beautiful setting. It was very comfortable and met all of our needs. The only difficulty we had which was poor communication from the property management company VACASA. We experienced a partial loss of power with no electricity in the living room and the refrigerator not working as well as outlets in the kitchen. I notified the property management company as soon as I realized our dilemma at about 9:30 in the morning we texted back-and-forth a number of times to no avail. I ended up having to call the 800 number three times before someone was finally dispatched to the house at about 4:30 in the afternoon. We felt that their concern and response to the situation was less than adequate.
