Nags Head Oceanfront, Private Beach Access & Pool

We loved the home. It was well-equipped and had all the amenities. Ample space and nicely furnished home. Amazing ocean view and a great location with outlets and stores/restaurants close by. Will definitely come back for another stay. James, the host, was always quick to respond and answered all questions ahead of our stay. Thank you, James, we really enjoyed our stay!

This is the second we have stayed at this property and the second time was equally as great as the first time. The property has been well maintained and James, the host, is amazingly attentive and helpful. The home is well stocked and very clean. It both cases we have stayed “off season”, but the condition of the house and the service we received was anything but “off season”. We will be staying here again in the future.

Great location and well laid out home for large groups to meet. The only reason it is not a five star is we had plumbing issues with the 2 bathrooms on the 2nd floor that flooded the lower level. James and the maintenance crew were quick to respond and provided clean linens.

Great place to stay off season! James was awesome to work with. House was perfect for a short getaway. Love that it's oceanfront with dunes that are low enough that you can actually SEE the ocean from the inside of the house and while sitting on the deck. The hot tub was fantastic and covered, so we could enjoy it even when it was raining. The beds and pillows were super comfy. Inside of house was clean, but the cleaning ladies need to work on the outside around the pool, outdoor shower and in front by the trash cans where all the beach gear is. Good news is there's a ton of beach gear already there including beach chairs and sand pails, but it just needs to be cleaned up and not scattered everywhere in the front and back of the house. Love that it's right next door to Fishheads where you can hear live music almost every night and grab an easy dinner and cold beer even during the fall season.

Overall stay was good. We got evacuated out of Avon from the hurricane. And found this place last minute. Process was smooth

The space worked well for our family of 17. Kitchen is well stocked. An extra bath towel would have been nice but having a washer and dryer helped. The bunk beds are best for preteen and under so the 2 teens that slept on them were a little cramped. There were some boards on top deck that were loose and a few rusty nails on second deck but overall a great place. Loved the private walkway, pool, hot tub, and rec room. James responded quickly to all my texts. We left happy and content.

The layout of the Dimond, the pool, and access to the beach is fantastic! We thought being so close to the pier would be problematic but it was quite the opposite- great food and music and no disruption to our stay at all. The beach and surfing were excellent. They had a port-a-crib, snap on high chair and baby gates. You’ll need beach chairs and an umbrella. We enjoyed our stay!

Once again. House is amazing - next to a restaurant, a finishing pier and the beach, James is super responsive!

The property was very well maintained, full of amenities and the views are amazing. Very clean overall and the check in process was smooth and efficient. James was pleasant, timely and helpful in communications. The teens loved the game room and pool.

Me and my group had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. Great deck views from the top floor and amenities that gave us a much needed relaxing weekend. The game room provided plenty of entertainment and the easy access to the beach was fantastic. We're already talking about our next trip down there.

Went with great expectations to spend time with a friends group. Even though the house was okay, we had many issues during our stay which ruined our experience. To name few terrible experience with washing machine, cabinet falling off, fire place issue, pet refund.Washing machine NOT WORKING - There were wet soaked floor mats left in the washing, probably left by cleaners since the washing machine stopped working half way. We werent able to use the hot tub much or get wet, since we have no way to wash or dry towels etc. The technician and agent, clearly told us it was unfortunate, they cannot replace the washing since it was holidays. But later on after we left they just lied, saying it was working. Our friends who were travelling to another place, intended to do laundry before leaving but couldnt and also they couldnt find any open laundromats in the area due holiday.Fireplace - When asked about the fireplace not operating properly, agent mentioned it is a liability concern that we cannot use it. But when the technician came, he fixed it and we were able to use. Cabinet My friend's kid was playing near it when it just fell off and luckily he wasnt hurt but was very scared. Cabinet should have been more of a liability than the fireplace.Pet refund-we didnt receive total refund as told, saying we didnt pay as much. They can try to book with/without pet and see how much difference comes to.These are some things that could have been taken care properly prior to renting.
