Situated near Jockey's Ridge State Park, you'll enjoy views of the famous sand dunes right from your windows. Step inside and be greeted by a stylishly renovated interior, where you'll find modern comforts and coastal charm. The living area invites you to unwind after a day of exploring the beaches of the Outer Banks, with plush seating and a flat-screen TV for entertainment.

The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's delight, featuring sleek appliances and all the cookware and utensils you need to whip up delicious meals. When it's time to rest, retreat to one of the three cozy bedrooms, each thoughtfully appointed with comfortable bedding, perfect for relaxing after a long day exploring the Outer Banks. Outside, you'll find a covered deck where you can soak up the sun or savor your morning coffee. Grill up your favorite food on the gas grill in the yard and enjoy your meals out on the deck to never miss a minute of time in the salt air. This house is pet friendly, so you can bring your dogs along on the trip so they can enjoy the beach too.

Exploring Nags Head: Conveniently located close to shopping and dining options, including Mulligan s Grille right across the street, you'll have everything you need within easy reach. Whether you re lounging on the beach, exploring nearby attractions such as Jockey s Ridge, or simply relaxing at home, this oceanside retreat offers the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coastal beauty.

Beach Access: Located north of the home at Conch Street. Head east out from the house and turn left onto Route 12. Beach access with paved parking is less than a mile from the property.

No Smoking/Vaping. Dog Friendly - 2 Dogs Maximum Allowed. Dogs allowed for an additional per pet fee.

Washer/Dryer-in-one combo provided.

All reservations are offered to purchase travel insurance for an additional 7.75% of your rent and taxes. Please refer to the rental agreement you will be signing to accept or decline this coverage as your refund in the time of cancellation will be dependent on your acceptance in most situations. All guests must sign and return a rental agreement before reservations are confirmed. Payment for travel insurance, if accepted, will be processed upon receipt of this signed agreement.

Standard cancellation policy is: CANCELLATION POLICY and SUBSTITUTIONS - Any changes, including changing dates, switching of properties, or complete cancellations will invoke the cancellation policy. Agent recommends all Renters purchase travel insurance offered at time of booking to protect them in the event of an unexpected event affecting their vacation. Agent cannot offer future credits or immediate refunds for unexpected cancellations due to emergencies regardless of the situation, including but not limited to weather events and acts of God, unexpected illnesses, injury or death, changing of plans, or job loss. Please do not ask. All cancellations are subject to a fifty dollar ($50.00) cancellation fee. Cancellations must be submitted to Agent in writing (email is acceptable). In the event of cancellation, no refund of monies paid will be made unless the Property is re-rented for the same price and time period of this original vacation rental agreement. If the Property is re-rented for a lesser price or time period, the original Tenant will receive a refund for the difference between the originally agreed upon rental amount and the rebooked rental amount as Owner is entitled to receive the full amount of the original rental agreement. Agent will make every effort to re-rent the Property at the full amount. Tenant acknowledges that Agent has full discretion on negotiating rental rates in an effort to get the Property re-rented and make the Owner whole, while also attempting to get the Tenant the highest refund possible.

    Neither my spouse nor myself had ever seen The Lost Colony and I had always wanted to. I had also wanted to take my daughter and her boyfriend before their new home was built so this was the trip. Lovely little property right across the street from Mulligans Pub so you can walk. I would stay here again for sure!!

    Great house. Keep in mind its pet friendly a little more pet hair than expected especially on the bedding. Im also assuming the pet brought in grass burrs that stuck to the rugs, ocuh! Great location to beach and restaurants. Easy walk to jockeys ridge. Id stay agai.

    The property was recently renovated and they did a great job. Small footprint but great layout. My husband and two teenage boys stayed there easily. Very clean and beachy. Centrally located; easy access to everything. Public access to the beach was a 15 min walk or a 2 min drive although you could see the beach from the porch. 3 min drive Jockey's Ridge State Park. It is located in the historic cottage district across the street from Mulligan's.

    The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. You can’t beat the location, not far at all from the beach and within walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and ice cream! Our family loved it and it was such a bonus that it was pet friendly ?Will definitely be back!
