Na Hoku; upstairs oceanfront unit just steps to town and Hanalei Bay beach!

Fantastic location right across the lawn from the beach. Stunning views from the porch. It is an old classic pine and plywood construction, nothing fancy, but extremely clean and well-provisioned. People downstairs had a 1 year old and it wasn’t too loud. There’s a laundry hut that was very convenient and an outdoor shower. We will absolutely book here again!

The view from the deck cannot be beat. You have a panoramic view of the ocean and the mountains. The location was fanatic, and city of Hanalei is charming and sweet!

Couldn’t be a more perfect setup for family beach vacation

Location cannot be beat. Just steps to Hanalei Beach, and less than 1 mile into town. The Hanalei Pier is only a 20 min walk along the beach. The house itself is nothing fancy, but the views and location are incredible. Huge open front lawn is perfect for kids to run and play. My 13, 10, and 7 year old boys had a blast. Would come back in a heartbeat.

The location of this property cannot be beat. Beautiful views, right on the beach with a huge grassy area in front. Great for kids to play. Very relaxing to sit on the wonderful deck and enjoy coffee, meals, reading and just about anything. Walkable to town or a very quick drive. The apartment itself is very clean but a little tired. It also very basic. No AC and the bedrooms get hot in afternoon sun. Also no curtains so there is a lot of light. Bring your sleep mask if you are sensitive to light. No dishwasher. It was, however very relaxing to stay here and we’d like to come back to this area. We enjoyed the Nepali coast catamaran tour. The pick up point is just a two minute drive away. Also enjoyed Postcards restaurant for a special meal. Lots of fun taking a ukulele lesson at Hanalei strings. All in all, it was wonderful stay.

Great location

We had a lovely week at this rental. It was perfect for my husband and me. We loved the peaceful vibe of Hanalei, and the access to the beach and beach/ocean views were amazing. The sound of the surf was lovely. We would love to return!

We could not imagine a better setting for Hanalei. We ate out at restaurants, but preferred cooking in our well stocked kitchen and eating on the porch. There is a downstairs unit that looked good, too. There is a laundry hut with a nice outdoor show next to it for wet clothes and people. Communication with host was great. We will be back!

Though Hanalei changed over the past 25 years, Na Hoku is still the place we dream of - quiet, well maintained, fully equipped, great views, spacious. Nothing can beat a freshly cooked candlelight dinner on their lanai. To us simply the best place to stay on Kaua'i.

The property is not fancy, but it is a perfect Hanalei getaway. Close to town, but away from the touristy part of Hanalei. There is no air conditioner, but with the trade winds and fans we found it to be an even better experience to enjoy the elements. We hope to be back!

Very nice 3 day stay in hanalei. Accomodation is according to description. Location on the beach is really great. Only drawback is absence of blinds/curtains in the bedrooms

A wonderful place to rejuvenate. All amenities, comfy beds, plenty of fans (which you will need in hot weather-no AC) and a perfect view. Enjoy.
