My Margarita Time-Best Dadgum Beach Home 4 BR, can be 5BR

This place was by far the best we have stayed at. The house had so much room nobody felt like they were on top of anyone. All the games that the home had for us to play was amazing, the beach is right there. I loved drinking coffee and listening to the waves each morning. When something went wrong they were there right away to fix it. Only thing i would change is having some beach towels at the house for guests to use. Amazing house and host, would recommened to everyone!!!!

Perfect for a family with teens or young adults! Beach was amazing and the weather was wonderful!

So beautiful. This place is a one of a kind! We were 9 women and had plenty room. Clean and roomy! So close to beach. Loved our entire trip. Will be back next year!

‘My Margarita Time’ is an absolute gem of a find! Derrell the owner was beyond expectations from reaching out after booking to tell us about his home, to meeting us there upon arrival to personally walk us through his home and show us how things worked. Proximity to the beach could not be better and the ease of walking to the beach was definitely a highlight- no streets to cross, no long wooden access points with stairs to carry things up and over, which made going back and forth from the beach to the house quick & easy! Having the umbrella and chair setup on the beach meant less time traipsing stuff down and more time playing in the water or sitting down to enjoy the sunshine! The house itself was all you could ever ask for! It was decorated so thoughtfully and made for a cozy and inviting place to relax after beach time. The ‘puzzle’ room as we deemed it was the perfect place to spend our time on the rainy day we had. The beds were comfy, all the bedrooms having their own bathroom was something I never knew I needed, the kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to make some of our meals at home, the laundry room was clutch and meant we didn’t come home with bags of laundry to do, and the porch offered ample seating options for us to sit and talk while looking at the beach. My boys claimed the basement for themselves and we certainly got our money’s worth of game time and playing! ‘My Margarita Time’, we will be back and next time we will need the ‘extra’ rooms!

This stay was wonderful! It was the perfect space for our family! The pool was a big hit and the walk to the beach was nice and convenient. The house was spacious and clean and the owner of the property was accommodating with requests and easy to communicate with! We would highly recommend!

I don’t think I could possibly say enough good things about My Margarita Time. What an amazing house. It felt spacious enough that we weren’t on top of each other yet cozy and felt like home. The kitchen comes with so many appliances to make vacation meal planning easy. We utilized 4 bedrooms between 8 adults and a toddler, I love that you can add additional rooms in the event we invite more people on our next trip or need additional space. I loved that each bedroom had their own bathroom. The pool was the perfect size to hang out in and still enjoy each other's company. We loved having the bean bag game available while hanging around the pool area. Plenty of seating in every area inside and outside. We had a rainy day which allowed us to spend some time inside the game room playing pool and competing over frogger and Mario World which we haven’t played in years. Celebrating my 40th couldn’t have been any better. Derral has been amazing to work with. Very prompt in his responses. I would for sure rent this house again. What a wonderful experience.

The walk to the beach is easy. The pool is nice. Beds are comfortable.

We normally go on vacation and go do things around the location we stay, but this time I just wanted to get away, stay at the beach, and make memories with out all the work and expense of going just to come back from vacation and be exhausted. This was everything I envisioned for me and my family! We cooked in with a well equipped kitchen. (eating in and sitting down for meals are really important to us) What incredible decor! Every bedroom was comfortable and well decorated. The house was big enough for all 7 of us. The game room was spot on and so enjoyable. I love to get up early and pray in the morning and the game room was the perfect place and I didn’t interrupt anyone’s sleep. The pool was perfect. We built all kinds of things with sand on the beach.The beach entrance was so convenient, right across the street. The grill was great-used it almost every day. The owner was one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and was very respectful of our privacy.

After visiting the Destin area for over 20 years, I have finally found our home away from home. My entire family was just blown away by this property. Whether it was being able to have drinks on the deck while watching the ocean, being just 60+ steps from the beach, or having a private heated pool...I'm not sure we could ever stay anywhere else that would make everyone as happy as they were over the course of week. My (adult) kids both acknowledged this past week was exactly what they needed to recharge...and this house made it possible. Derral was the consummate host – making us feel welcome and informed long before we ever arrived to check in. Then, he was only a text or phone call away if we needed anything. A previous guest had left the house blender non-functioning...and Derral replaced it within a matter of hours, no questions asked. That's the kind of customer service you hope for...but very seldom see. I can't recommend this property highly enough. All the other reviews really are accurate. On a scale of 1 to 5, I would give it an 11. Now...I have to go plan my next trip back to My Margarita Time and get my reservation submitted. See you at the beach!
