Find an amazing array of things to do at Baytowne Wharf. Plenty to keep the kids happy – burn off some energy at the Adventure land Playground, test your courage at the Gulf Coast’s only zipline or ropes course at Baytowne Adventure Zone. Go back in time at the Carousel, or head to the future at the Blast Arcade and laser Maze or the Boondocks Arcade. Want to get your shop on You’ll find a varied selection of shops right here in the Village, from a surf shop to funky clothing, shoes and accessories and everything in between, a wine shop, toy store, general store, even an old-fashioned candy shop.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs.     When we got there to check in the AC was being worked on. They did fix it. However the Furniture was old and stained. The refrigerator never got cold at all. The microwave light was out. There was no dish soap to wash dishes. Back screen door had big hole in it. Overall just needs a lot of updates.

    Overall, we had a great stay at this property! Pros: Location in Baytowne Wharf (walking distance to most amenities), proximity to restaurants, shopping, and beaches. Fireworks show was pretty much in the backyard which was nice. Size of the unit being 4 baths, 3 bedrooms Cons: The pool was not heated during our stay (even though it should’ve been within the temperature ranges for at least two of the days). The tub when filled in the Master bedroom was full of sand. Our kids found numerous items (earrings, candy, etc) under their beds upstairs. Other suggestions I would make to management/property owners are the same as previous reviews with regards to blinds being broken and updated furniture. There really needs to be more seating in the living area to accommodate more than 4 people. I do want to mention this (not the fault of the owners/property management) but the unit next to us had a guest and they parked blocking our space and we had to park in the overflow until we could ask them to move their vehicle.

    Location was great. And the extra amenities you get were great for the kids. Furniture needs updated for sure and you definitely need to bring everything food wise for a kitchen including salt and pepper. I also recommend bring extra trash bag, toilet paper, and dish pods.

    Downstairs furniture and small appliances need to be updated. Broken blinds in common area need to be replaced. Matching place settings needed to accommodate a minimum of 8 people. Nicer and additional bedding needed to sleeper sofa.

    One of the newer homes in Sandestin. Walking distance from Baytowne Wharf and a very short drive to Grand Boulevard/Publix. Home was very nice and we enjoyed the outdoor screened-in patio. Nice view of the golf course.

    I cannot express how much we enjoyed staying at Magnolia Bay. It not only met our expectations, but exceeded them in many ways! The house was beautiful. Perfect location (walking distance to Baytowne Wharf) (very close to Boulevard Shops and Restaurants) (very close to the Beach). The grounds and area golf courses were absolutely beautiful. We walked to/from Baytowne Wharf without any problems -- always felt safe (even late at night). Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful property with others. We will definitely return!!!

    The house was very nice and you didn’t feel like you were in a strangers house. Very nicely decorated. The patio furniture could use an upgrade as well as repairs to the screens that are torn. The only disappointment was waking the last day, early riser, and they had already taken away your internet access. For as much as you pay you should be able to have that until you walk out the door.

    We really enjoyed this property! It was me, my husband, our 18 month old twins, six year old and my mother staying at the property and it fit us perfectly. The rooms were huge so plenty of room for suitcases, pack n plays and toys. There was even a baby gate which was great because we didn’t think to bring one for the stairs. I would agree with the previous review that the furniture is a little worn but it didn’t deter us from relaxing. I also read the reviews about the uncomfortable beds but I think the owners added a mattress topper because we didn’t find the beds uncomfortable at all. I think the only thing really missing was a grill. The location was perfect to walk to Baytown Wharf and it was a very quick drive to the main pool and beach. We found the back road to the mall, restaurants, Publix, Tom Thumb and Starbucks and that made life even easier. We didn’t realize there were fireworks on Tuesday night so we had two upset kiddos, oops, but that wasn’t a huge deal. We had one noise issue with some other guests playing loud music but security took care of it very quickly and there were no other issues. We also had to run to the store for trash bags, toilet paper, and paper towels so be sure to bring those items with you. Overall, we had a great stay and will likely stay here again next year!
